Zoerell didn't even bother to respond back to the message he just slide his phone back into his pocket and relaxed in his seat as as his brother was coming upon their exit. "Say bruh we gotta make it quick I hate it over here." I told Nolan. "I know, I know we gone be in and out anybody move funny even if they funny looking shoot they ass." Nolan said. I couldn't help but laugh at his goofy ass. "But all jokes aside little brudda how you holding up?" He asked, "I'm cool Nola" I said with a sigh.
"Zoerell you're my brother and I know you're not okay and that's cool too. I know Nana was your best friend if you need someone to talk to we here for you. We'll get through this together I don't need you closing us out like you did when Rae' left." Nolan said pulling up a few houses down from the spot. " I hear you bro." We got out the car I check my gun and made sure it was cocked and ready for use. "You go around back pop anybody you see we in and out this muthafucka." Nolan told me I made my way around back peeking through the kitchen window I seen two niggas sitting at this little ass table counting up some money. Had to be at lease 10 G's on the table. I heard the front door bust open and I came in blasting through the back door all was heard was shots ringing out I shot one dude in the back of the head and the other nigga two to his chest.
Young was to slow to pick up the tool three more shots rang out and all got quiet. As I made my way over to the table I started throwing money into the duffle bag. "Yo Nola you good?" I didn't get a responds my heart started to speed up and I dropped the last stack in the bag. I made my way to the living room two niggas was slumped on the couch. Did this nigga leave me? I questioned myself "Nola bring your ass nigga." Still no respond I heard a thump and a bang from up stairs I took the stairs two at a time making it to the first room I seen my brother standing over Reggie. "Say come on bruh we gotta go." I said dragging his ass with me out the house, nobody was outside gun shots was like birds chirping to these folks on this side of town. Getting into the car Nolan zoomed down the street I pulled out the blunt I rolled before we left the crib I lit it up. Took a pull from it and passed it to Nolan my phone starting ringing I pulled it out. "Its mama." I said answering the phone.
Rell: "Yes mama?"
Gabby: "Since yell out running the streets. Bring back some paper goods you know these folks about to be all through this house." She sighed.
Rell: "Alright Ma."
Gabby: "Oh and tell Nolan, Lauren stopped by."
Rell: "Yes Ma'am."
With that she hung up the phone. "Ma said, Lauren stopped by and for us to stop by the store." He didn't respond so it was my time to ask "Nolan you alright man?"
Walking through the house I seen faces I haven't seen in years damn shame they only time folks show up is when somebody die fake asses. Walking in the kitchen he spotted his parents and Penda noticing Dashon was longer there shrugging it off Zoerell sat the shit down his mama asked for earlier on the table. Trying to make his exit out the kitchen before someone seen him. "Zoe do me a favor and take that chicken out the oven for me." He heard his mama say. "Man what the fuck!" He tried mumbling under his breath, turning around catching the eyes of his mother it was like she was staring into his soul. "I heard you smart ass you can't mumble for shit. TAKE! That chicken out and tell your brother to bring me my grand baby." She said, shaking her head. Doing what he was told taking the chicken out he made his way to Nolan's room seeing his nephew chilling on the bed chewing on the remote. "Ay Nolan mama want the baby." "Alright take him to her for me." Nolan said from the inside of his walk in closet. Zoe smacked his lips picking his nephew up and walking out the room.
