The rest of the week went real quick. I was regularly bullied by the blond girl, who i now know is Nathaniels sister Amber. On thursday afternoon Ken tryed to stick up for me. That just got him a punch in the face giving him a bloody nose. I was still grateful for him trying to help me.
The next day i didnt see him at all and when i did he just ignored me and looked sad.
At the end of the day i got to know that he wanted to meet me at the swings. It was only us there. "You wanted to talk to me." i stated as i walked over to him. "Yesterday when i came home with a bloody nose, my dad whos in the army wanted to know what happened. I told him and now hes sending me to military school or boot camp. He thinks that i should toughen up so i can protect you better. And im not sure that we'ill see each other again." he said all of this very slow and i noticed that he was crying. I tryed to tell him that everything would be okay. He nodded and reached inside his backpack. At first i thought he was going to take a cookie as usual. But he took out a teddy bear. He gave it to me and said "So you'll remember me." I took it and hugged it a very long time and when i looked up again, he was gone.
