Chapter 1 Past

Enzo was a struggling 17 year old in college studying to become an engineer. He had an amazing girlfriend and worked in a little coffee shop to help support them. But at 18 he got into a wreck him being drunk had it the other car was sentenced to 9 months. When he got out he was able to get his old job back because the woman that owned the place was kind and needed all the help she could get. Enzo had yet to see his girlfriend but soon found a email from her saying she wanted to meet up with him at his job. She informed him she ended their relationship and was with a "better man". So they agreed to meet up in a few months. The owner was like a second mother and was happy to help till he was back up on his feet.

When it was a week before the original meet time with his ex. Enzo got called up to the front saying that someone was there to see him. Much to his surprise it was a man in a suit. "Are you Enzo Jones?" Enzo simply nodded with a confused stare."You are now the only father of a newborn baby girl. Be at this hospital by tomorrow at newn or she goes into foster care. Congrats." With that the man walked off leaving a star struck Enzo with a file with all of the information that he needed. Turns out His ex Sara gave birth early and left all legal rights to him. The next day Enzo showed up at the hospital with everything needed to take his baby home. "Are you Enzo Jones?" The nurse at reception asked him. With a nod and and a smile the nurse gestured for him to follow. Enzo was lead to an office where he signed some paper, during the process another nurse brought him a baby girl. "She is absolutely beautiful you are one lucky young man." Enzo simply smiled while taking her from the nurse. "What will her name be?" The office nurse asked quietly due to the fact that the child was sleeping. "Jasper Kol Jones. My little JJ is what she is and always will be." The nurse nodded writing it down on the file, then giving Enzo Jasper's birth certificate. Going home Enzo smiled down at his daughter.
