Haruto's POV:

"HARUTO, GET YOUR FAT ASS OUT OF YOUR BEDCHAMBERS AND COME MEET THE BRIDES" Osaka slammed open the opal doors as she jumped onto my bed, sinking her elbows into my ribs. sometimes I wish my mother didn't decide to have another child after me, maybe that would have led to more peaceful mornings.

"SWEET MOTHER OF AKIBRUS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING" I whined as I wretched away from Osaka's grip. I grasped onto the feather filled quilt as I clung for dear life on my bed.

"the brides are here to see you, and Alana will be thereeeee, I've seen you eye her from across the room" she mocked batting her eyelashes cheekily.

Alana Suiren was the heir to the fairy crown, one of the most prestigious kingdoms in Akibrus. Her beauty was almost unreal, with her platinum blonde silky hair and eyes as brown as chestnuts. I guess I was eyeing her from across the room when I wasn't glaring at Prince Akira. Prince Akira of kinrui Kingdom was one of the lower-ranking princes in Akibrus which was most likely because he was a stuck up asshole and wasn't very open to any contact. or maybe it was the fact the fungi sucked and they had the least amount of land in Akibrus. but the worst part was that we were only one river apart from each other, meaning countless banters over extra islands and land. I would rather the trolls be opposite from us, than those cold beings.

"I guess your right I should look nice for Alana if I want to marry her" I reply, sitting up and fixing my ruffled silver-green hair.

"well then," Osaka said fixing her shoulder-length mop of hair in the mirror, tucking the dark green strands behind her huge pointy ears. "I have asked Monty to bring in your new suit, I had it personalized to your liking," she said with a proud expression growing across her face.

"I'm not sure what I should expect coming from you, considering your outfits look like an old person and a 14-year-old goblin who doesn't know who they are yet, ran at each other" I commented sceptically.

Before I could make another comment Monty came bursting through the doors sweat beading from his forehead. his golden hair looking like a used hay bale.

"Goodmorning, your highnesses" he bowed gracefully before quickly placing the suit on my bed.

"your highness, i-"

"Monty, just call me Haruto" I interrupted, glancing at him thoughtfully. I stepped back knowing my height was probably slightly intimidating to him. Monty was also young and new to the goburin Empire official staff and fresh from training only a few months ago.

Before he could decline my offer I interrupted, "Monty you may now finish your news"

He pulled at his cuff nervously.

"Monty"

"your h- Haruto, do you want the bad news or the good news first"

"Just give me the bad news" I sigh.

"I'm afraid Prince Akira of Kinrui kingdom has met with Princess Alana today, but don't fret, the queen has some plans for you"

I couldn't believe the blandest prince in akibrus was going to win over the most beautiful Princess to ever walk this planet. not to mention mushrooms were probably the most stupid things to ever exist.
