Naruto was sitting in his office, working on papers that were coming in, as he made a typo he stopped and got up out of his chair and looked out the window of the Hokage window. The day was nice and fair. It had been a few year's since Boruto and his adoptive older brother fought, seeing the damage being repaired on the stone faces. He sighed and turned back looking at his computer. "So much work to do, thankfully the Hidden Stone village is helping us but there is still so much."
Naruto said tiredly, he had been awake for a few days now not getting any or enough sleep as he eyes were heavy and there was darkened under eyes. Within moments Sakura walked in with Sasuke and a couple other people. They were archaeologists from the Hidden Stone village. "Lord Seventh, or would you prefer me to call you Lord Naruto?" The woman said behind Sakura coming forward slightly. "Naruto is just fine, I'm to exhausted for formalities, Miss. Hehe." Naruto said with a smile sitting down, before Sakura walked over with some files and used a bit of her Healing jutsu to help Naruto feel a bit more awake.
"Thank you Sakura, I feel better more awake now." He said with a slight smile. "Naruto, your going to have to get some sleep very soon. If you don't soon, i will drag you out of here and strap you to one of the bed's in the infirmary got it Idiot?" Sakura said in her usual way, and Naruto nodded before turning his head to the woman. "So i assume there is something your here to tell me?" Naruto said, which made the woman sit down. "Yes, Naruto. I'm a archaeologist, you had given us permission to find and bring back everything we could from the Uzumaki home."
Naruto nodded looking at the files. "Yes I remember, you are um.. Dr. Numaki Yuri correct?" Yuri nodded. "Yes that's me, so as were removing the dirt and debris from the area we soon discovered that your clan home is built on top of a ancient village. As we were finding pottery, walls, that didn't match anything from your clan home. We would like to start digging there as soon as possible to find more of this place and see how old it really is." Naruto leaned back in his chair, looking at the pictures in the file while listening to Yuri. "Hmm, i see... Sasuke what are you thoughts on this?" Naruto said placing the pictures on his desk and looking at Sasuke leaning back in his chair. "I think it would be a good choice to find out more of the history of your clan, or this new clan or village and see if it's related to your clan or not." Sasuke said to Naruto stepping forward to stand at his right side and looking at the pictures.
"Alright Sasuke, Thank you for your input." Naruto said standing up, moving his chair and putting the completed papers in the box for his assistant to look at. "Dr. Numaki. I give you permission to excavate the land to find out more of the history beneath. You may use what you need when you need." Naruto said signing his name on her forms after walking back to his desk. He then handed them to her. "Now please excuse me, i am going to get my first sleep in day's." Naruto said before leaving his office and walking down the hall. Sasuke and Yuri left the room as well.
"I shall go and get started, getting some people and start excavating the area there." Dr.Numaki said to Sasuke before walking away leaving the building.
After a few day's of getting some workers for the excavation, she went to the Uzumaki clan home where the excavation is at. With the clan home now gone and in Konoha for preservation, some earth shinobi rerouted the water way's to keep water off the sight. Dr. Numaki and her team went to work excavating the sight. Removing the wet dirt, rocks, boulders out of the area and to Konoha or using them at the sight for building or such to not waste anything.
"Great work people, we have just discovered a stone street!" She said a couple day's later, as they were not some several feet down excited and soon everyone started to cheer even tho their work was far from done. "Hmm? what's this?" Dr.Numaki said picking up some pottery and they all had the same type of marking. With this being her discovery of the sight she decided to call this place. "The Numara Clan home." Even though she and some others thought it was weird calling it so close to her own last name. "Miss, why call it the Numara clan home, when we don't even know if this was a clan or even the name?" One of the workers said to her, walking over as she was examining the broken pottery. "Simply, because there was this old legend of a Clan that was legendary healing shinobi and that this clan made healing jutsus. No one remembered anything about the clan outside of the legend. With some very rough translation's of the the ancient text's we think the name of that legendary clan was called "Numara clan." " Dr.Numaki said to the male worker.
