she had always been beautiful and intelligent, and her step mother jumped at the chance to take advantage of it not for money but for status because that's all she ever cared for truly. She entered Adina into many beauty pageants as soon as she could walk, and adina won each one and for over six years she was undefeated but the one year she lost was the year she saw different side of her life, being shunned out by her father and step mother to the point she ate her feelings which in turn caused her gain some weight and from what I was told it only made things worse.
two years later at the age of nine her father left her on her grandmother's doorstep, never even saying goodbye or even I love you. Adina said he looked her straight in eye and said " I can't have someone who looks like you bringing down my reputation, don't contact me anymore" that's the type of shit that could break anyone especially a kid.
From what i as told even though herfeelings were hurt Adina was ever so grateful because finally being with her grandmother, great uncle, and mother was the greatest thing that ever happen to her. They never judged her or shunned her for her looks in fact they encouraged her to start loving herself for who she was, it was hard adjustment having the silver spoon she was so accustom to be ripped away from her in a single day but her grandmother was and still is a fuckin' G and started teaching her a way of life she never knew.
So did her mother, she was what was called a original 'Hoochie mama' the type of woman who She sold dope, did hair and baby-sat out the same house they were living in all while looking as she says ghetto fuckin' fabulous she did what she wanted and fucked who she wanted . and her grandmother was no better that was the whole reason they even moved her something about her being on run for what I have no idea because they never would tell me but judging from all the guns they kept in house and that were in her grandmother's purse, I don't think I wanted to know.
━━━ MAYBE THAT'S WHY,Fezco and her got along so well, their stories were similar and they understood each other although she didn't give him much of choice, her mind was made up and whatever Adina wanted she received, she didn't mind working for it either.
