I'm here to help

_____________________________________________________

Dokja was sitting at the cafe desk. Coffee in one hand, a book in the other. It was very quiet in his library even though there were many people there. But he liked the quiet; it made him feel at peace.

But not too long the quit ended. Two kids who looked like they were sidling. Was arguing Dokja frowned, he wondered where the kids parents were. After a few minutes of waiting he couldn't take it anymore.

He walked over to the kid. They didn't notice his presence until he spoke.

"Excuse me"

The kid turned and looked at the man. One was a boy with brown hair and brown eyes. The other girl also had brown hair and brown eyes.

"Yes?" Said the little girl confused.

" You guys are a little bit too loud , remember this is a library" Dokja smiled at them. He thought that the kids were so cute.

"OH.. sorry I didn't mean to get loud" The little girl got flustered. Then she pinched the boy next to her.

"OW! Okay I'm sorry for being loud" The boy glared at the girl.

Dokja smiled and grew; he never had siblings before but always wanted one.

Dokja looked around again trying to see if the two parents were around. Then he looked back at the kids.

"Where are your parents?" Dokja asked, confused.

The children look like they could be in middle school. Which was an age that Dokja felt was still too young to be going alone.

"There not here" The doy said

Dokja tries to keep his smile on. He thought so they have that type of parents who do not care about what their children do.

The girl started to get worried then said something.

"There going to come they are just busy with work"

"What time are they going to come pick you up?"

She looks at him trying to think of something to say. She didn't know when her parents were going to pick them up. They just dropped them off here and told them to study or something. She didn't want to tell him that she didn't know but also felt like she should.

She knew she shouldn't tell strangers personal stuff. But she felt like she could trust him.

After a few minutes of silence the man spoke.

"If you don't want to tell me you don't have to"

She was surprised and thought "can this guy read minds?"

"How about this until you parents come pick you up you can sit at one of the tables by the cafe and I'll give you some cookies"

The boy looked up at the man and got excited.

"YES I LOVE COOKIES!"

"Okay then that settles it, also my name Kim Dokja I am the owner of this library"

The boy smiled " I'm Lee Gilyoung"

"I'm Shin Yoosung"

Dokja looked at the kid trying to hide his shocked expression. So they're not siblings? They really look like thoughts. He pushed his thoughts aside and showed the kids to a table. He left the kids to go get some cookies until he heard two girls talking.

"OMG did we see that guy, he is so sweet!" A girl with blonde hair, and green eyes said.

"I guess he is" the other girl said

Who? I should probably stop listening to the conversation. He walked away.

He came back with the cookies. Gilyoung got excited about the double chocolate chip cookies and the chocolate chip cookies that were going to be in his stomach soon.

"Thank you hyung!" said Gilyoung drooling

Hyung?

"Thank for the cookies ahjussi" Shin Yoosung said

Ahjussi?

I guess it's okay if it makes them happy to call me that. Dokja smiled and left the kid alone to eat their cookies.

A few two hours passed and the two kid parents still haven't come back. Dokja started to get worried. He wondered if the parents just abandoned the kids. He looked up from his book. Not able to read because he was worried.

He saw the kids Gilyoung talking and the girl was just staring. Maybe she was worried that it was getting dark. Almost time for home to close the library. He decided to walk up to the kids.

" Are your parents coming to pick you up yet?" Dokja looks at the two kids.

"N - no not yet" said Shin Yoosung, frowning.

"Yoosung just tell him already" said Lee Gilyoung

"Tell me what?" Dokja raises one of his eyebrows confused.

" I - it's nothing" the girl said getting flustered

" Are parents aren't coming" Lee Gilyoung finally said

Dokja was so shocked. Why weren't their parents coming? How were they supposed to get home?

"Are friend brother was supposed dropped his sister off but she got sick" Lee Gilyoung stated

"Yoosung didn't want to bother her mom so she didn't tell her"

"Okay and what about you?" Dokja said

Lee Gilyoung looked away from him. He didn't want to say his reason.

Dokja sighed, making the kid frown more. He had noticed that it seems like they don't want to make unhappy. So he smiled softly at them, making the kids surprised that he didn't lecture them.

"Okay then I'll drop you off"

"What!?" Both kid said at the same time

The kids looked at him even more shocked. He knew that it was kind of weird and creepy for him to offer this. But what else was he supposed to do? He didn't know the parents' phone number.

"Give us a minute we'll be back"

The two kids left the man and talked.

"We should expect his offer" said Lee Gilyoung smiling

Shin Yoosung was thinking. They did need a way to get home. But she can't just trust a stranger to take them straight home. She couldn't fully trust Dokja even if he was nice to them. But she couldn't get rid of this feeling in her gut telling her to trust him. She didn't know him, so why did she feel like trusting him?

Shin Yoosung looked at Lee Gilyoung worried and nervous.

"Yoosung I going to be fine plus if hyung tries to hurt us which I doubt he will I can just kick him where it hurt"

"O-okay let's go"

They came back and saw Dokja wiping off the tables he was sitting at. It didn't seem like he had noticed them.

"We're back hyung"

Dokja looked up and smiled.

"Have you chosen?"

They shook their head the Shin Yoosung spoke

"Yes we would like you to take us home please"

"Okay but we're going to have to walk, is your house nearby?"

"I think so" said Lee Gilyoung

"Okay wait here I have to close up shop"

Dokja took the kids back home. He was happy to know he could help the little ones. He left them with the women and went home.
