Vampires in this fic are not sensitive to sunlight.

Teyvat lay silent, the sun relocated; now only the moon bathed the world in its light. What could only be heard was the scampering and rustling of wildlife that sought shelter. However, it wasn't only the animals and monsters making such a ruckus.

A spear ruthlessly sunk into a monster's chest, before being tugged out with just as much force. Blood splattered against the forest floor, soaking the soil with the crimson fluid. The one wielding the spear then jumped backward, swiftly dodging an arrow that was hurling towards him. Instantly, he took control of his movements and leaped into the air, spinning his spear in his hands before redirecting himself and plunging directly down into the soil. The spear pierced the ground with a thundering pulse, sending a shockwave through where he stood, causing the monster to be thrown back against a tree. The silent figure gripped his spear, taking a few steps forward, only to effortlessly sink such spear into the enemy's chest. He dealt swiftly with the trouble, relaxing his muscles for that moment. However, much to his surprise, he felt a sharp object pierce his skin. With no time for reaction, he glanced down to the object, eyes only growing wide when all he saw was some sort of...needle, full of a liquid that reeked of toxicity. He swiftly removed the needle, tossing it away and attempting to locate where he was shot. But to his confusion, there was...nothing. He couldn't shake off what occurred that easily. So, he began sprinting to where he assumed it had fired from.

However.

The liquid that entered his body

Was not one of regular origin;

In fact, it would be the cause of the Yaksha's downfall.

A Curse.

A flowing pain sunk into the Yaksha's body, which sent a wave of shock through him. Dropping to the ground, he clutched his mouth. The source of the pain was centered directly in his jaws, and it wasn't ordinary. He could hear his pulse speeding up from pain and fear, in fact, his blood felt as if it was on fire; though that wasn't what he was most focused on. The burning and toxic pain began to spread throughout his jaws, causing his vision to grow blurry, and his body to grow numb. His entire being was in an agony he had never once experienced, and it brought him terror.
Was this to be the destruction of his contract?
Cursed.

Chapter 1.

The bubbly boy chirped happily as he reached for yet another bottle, chugging it within a few mere seconds, already babbling and begging for more. Obviously, he didn't think about paying after this, and only continued to chug the alcohol. Dawn Winery's wine was sooo good, wasn't it? He wanted every last bit!

Ehe, reminds me of when I shared Wine with Morax!
Hmmm...Speaking of Morax- or, Zhongli, what's he up to now?

Oh Well!

"Ehehe...Another round please!" I giggled cheerfully, eyes lighting up as I went to snatch the bottle on the counter, only to have it taken away to my horror.
I mean...Obviously...!
"Heeeey! That's mine! I- hic- Promise I'll pay. Well...With a performance, that is!"

"No."

The man behind the counter with fiery red hair and formal wear shook his head, glaring at the obvious disappointment in Venti's gaze.
"Hmph, fine."
Venti murmured, irritation and sadness in his tone. Obviously just trying to somehow make the winery owner give up the bottle.
