Being happy is not everyone's cup of tea. And being an Indian girl, is not an easy task as well. The fear of getting Judged, always haunts you.

People will start judging you the second you are born. Your parents will get to hear these type of taunts.

'Awww the baby is so cute. but, has quite a dull skin'

'Her nose looks as if someone punched her'

'His eyes are too small for a new born'

Etc..... Etc..... Etc..... And the list goes on and on and on.

When you start going to school. people will Judge you by your marks.
After you graduate, people will Judge you by your unemployment.
If you are 25 and unmarried then,
You have some defects in you.
If your past 30 and have no kids then,
You are having furtility problems.
And even this list goes on....

Sarcasm just flows through Indian blood.

This story is about a girl who is from a similar Society.

Her name is Aarsha Mehak, age 23, A btech graduate, and now started a career in quite a famous MNC.
She is happy.
Happy that she found a job of her dream. Happy that she is now independent. Happy that she can finally enjoy her life.

But what if future have other plans for her.

Aarsha's POV

Having a 9 to 5 job is not as boring as some people think it is. It's quite fun when you actually love what you are doing. That's what atleast I think.

I finished my work and started packing things to go home. I finished packing my things and came to the parking lot to take my car.

I stared at my small but nice Car in adoration. It gives me a sense of pride, knowing I brought this with my own salary, in EMI ofcourse. It's been a year since I got my job. Thankfully I got selected in campus placement, Or else finding a good job by a btech degree is practically impossible, unless you are an Einstein.

I got inside my Car and started speeding of to my small apartment room . I live alone in this silicon valley of India, AKA banglore. My parents live with my brother at his work place. He works as a software engineer as well. But in mumbai. He is more organized and more displined than me, which leads my parents to always compare me with him.
If you are born in an Indian household then, you should get used to being compared with  your siblings,  cousin's and especially 'sharma ji ka ladka'

My chain of thoughts got cut off by the angelic voices of bts. The song blood sweat and tears played in my moblie as it was my ringtone. My army heart💜 didn't let me answer it. Because I was too engrossed in listening to it. Which my colleagues and friend say is annoying.

I finally answered the call and put it on speaker. And heard the voice of my brother laced with irritation. His Name is Aayush Mehak

"What took you so long" he hissed with irritation. I chuckled and told him a, "well! Hello to u too!"

He heaved a sigh and continued speaking.
"How is work" he asked. By judging his voice and behaviour. You can totally say that's not why he actually called me.
"It's going good so far, are mom and dad fine and your job" I inquired, getting into the small talk.
"They are good" He told me. Taking a deep sigh, he finally said " papa want's you to get married".
It took me a whole minute to digest what he said.
Then I started laughing nervously. Better be a sick joke I thought.
"Tell me your Joking" I said while laughing.
"Aarsha! Iam not joking" he said getting even more irritated with my lack of understanding him. That made my laughter die, and halt my car at the side. As i took my phone in my hand.
"What do you mean" I asked him. Not liking the topic one bit. After that he recited me whatever happened between him and our Dad.
