"I am sorry ma'am. Your Fiancé did not make it. He was shot unarmed helping a young child! He did not die for nothing!" The commander addressed me.
I just nodded and looked at the floor. Why did this happen to me? He was to come home today! Oh my beloved Danny! I ran to Nana Greens house. She would know what to do. I burst through the doors with tears falling.
"Nana! Danny is dead! Please help me! We were to be wed! I need to be with him!" I cried falling at Nana Greens feet.
"My child you are destined to be with him!" She said getting a jewelled dagger," So you must go after him!"
She handed me the dagger and I held it to my chest.
"Nana Green! Please help me!" I said sobbing.
She wrapped her hands around mine and pushed. The dagger pierced my skin and I felt no more pain.
