It was the first day after summer break. I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I always hated the sound but at least it woke me up quickly.
I got up went to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. I put my hair up in a towel and went back to my room to get dressed. Since it was the first day after summer break I decided to wear something more special.

I decided to go with a white basic turtle neck and a black tank top on top. Since I don't wear skirts that often I thought it would be nice to wear one on my first day back.
Then I went back to the bathroom to blow dry my hair. I decided to do some curls since I had the time. After my hair was done I put some makeup on. Nothing too special since I was not good at it. I just applied some mascara, a bit of concealer and a bit blush.
After I had finished getting ready I went downstairs to eat some breakfast. My mum was sitting at the dining table and reading the newspaper. I said "good morning" and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. She looked up and said "good morning sweetheart". I decided to eat some cereal since I wasn't that hungry.
After I finished my cereal I went back upstairs to pack my back. I texted my bestie if she could give me a ride to school.
Me: Hey, can u give me a ride to school today?💕
Lily🧸: Sure, I'll be there in 10 minutes.😘
I smiled to myself. Lily was just the best. I packed my back, put my docs on and went downstairs. I already heard a car stopping in front of our house so I shouted real quick "see you later" before leaving the house.
I got into the car and Lily said "What's up little whore?" I let out a quick laugh before pinching her arm. During the car ride we talked about our summer holidays and listened to Fleetwood Mac. It was my favourite to listen to after Lana del Rey.
After a while she said "and are you exiting to meet our new teacher?". I didn't knew anything about a new teacher. But of course Lily had her sources where she got all her information from. "we get a new teacher? In which subject?". She answered "in english" I don't know what happened to our old one but I hated her anyways so I didn't really care.
When we finally arrived at the school parking lost we went to meet our friends before the first lesson would start. Josh and Jess already waited for us. We shared quick hugs and Jess offered me a cigarette. She knew I needed one especially on the first day, it always calmed me down.
After the bell rang I went to my first lesson which was english. Lily and I took our seats in the back of the class. Since we were already late it didn't took long for our new teacher to enter the classroom.
