The 'Gabriel' between us ~Adrienette

From the moment Gabriel Agreste's son was born he have had complete control over his life. Since he is a famous fashion designer, it was clear that his son would never be like other children.

He's decided early that with such a difference in status, Adrien couldn't go to a normal school. This resulted in a lot of protest from his wife Emilie Agreste. She always though that despite his status, Adrien should be able to lead a normal life, like all his peers. But Gabriel forced his power over his familie and made sure Adrien was homeschooled and isolated from the life outside his mansion's walls.

Emilie never agreed with his decisions. Especially not wit his use of the butterfly miraculous. She knew it would effect Adrien badly. That's why she always tried to be there for her son as much as possible and give him a happy life.

Unfortunately fate had other plans. Emilie fell ill and went into a coma. It was up to Gabriel to tell his son about his mother. But he couldn't possibly tell him the truth. So he told Adrien that his mother had left them.

The day his mother left, she took all his happiness with her.

Adrien learned to always obey his father. He was the only family he had left at home, after all. He hated everything his father made him do. From Chinese to the many and long photoshoots. He didn't have friends to talk to. He basically always felt alone. That was until his father finally let him go to school and he met her...

He finally felt what it was like to love and be loved. With her he felt truly happy for the first time after the disappearance of his mother and he had no intention of losing her anytime soon.

Marinette couldn't be happier either. After all this time, she finally had a date with Adrien. Her kitty.

Of course she'd been surprised to find out that her 'partner in crime' turned out to be her crush, she couldn't believe her luck. After the reveal, she and Adrien immediately decided to start dating. They loved each other, so nothing could stop them and today was the day. The day of their first date.

Marinette skipped down the side walk towards the Agreste mansion. She was going to pick up Adrien after he finished his piano practice, for a movie and ice cream at André's. She couldn't wait!

She stopped in front of the large steel gate. She enthusiastically rang the bell. A camera immediately popped out off the wall and focused on her face.

"Yes?" a monotone voice said.

"Hello Natalie, up here to pick up Adrien for our date." she squeaked excitedly.

There was a moment of silence, then Natalie spoke again: "One moment." And the camera disappeared into the wall again.

Natalie had gotten up from her desk and made her way over to Mr. Agreste's office. She knocked on the door and waited patiently to be called in.

Gabriel stood behind his design pad and looked at her questioningly.

"Sir, one of Adrien's classmates is at the gate. The one that won the designing contest. Marinette? She claims to have a date with your son." Natalie announced.

Gabriel looked up from his pad in surprise. "What? A date with Adrien?"

His assistant nodded: "Yes, sir."
