She opened the message anyways and to her surprise she had a message from amber? Well amber had been hanging around them for a few days now so she wasn't as surprised but she wondered what she could possibly want?

Amber: Hey tara, sorry to bother you but mindy wanted me to invite you to her house next Friday, after school, she said we're all watching horror movies and having a sleepover?
Amber: she said she was too lazy to message anyone else she already asked wes and the others 😅
Tara: yeah tell her I'm going, after school right?
Amber: yeah

Tara put her phone down and lay flat on her back just waiting for anything interesting to happen? She didn't know why but she was anyways so-
But she got another notification
"I swear if that's liv messaging about me going shopping for beer with her I'm gonna fucking kill her"
But she got another message from amber.
She felt slightly giddy to know that amber was probably messaging her for something other than mindy's sleepover

The next day liv dragged tara to the convenience store so they could buy drinks for friday
"Liv, we're 17 how are you gonna buy alcohol?"

Liv put a pack of beers onto the counter and grabbed her money from her coat pocket
"I'm gonna need to see some ID before you buy these" the shopkeeper said to liv

She grabbed her ID card from her coat pocket and showed it to the shopkeeper
"Alright vanessa ulrich thanks for the proof" he said with a straight face

Tara and Liv approached the rest of the group and sat down with their lunch
"Hey what's up guys?" Tara asked

"Chad is talking to mindy about lizzie maguire"
"Hi i'm chad meeks martin and this is the Disney channel"
"This is not disney channel chad this is chilli's" mindy replied
"Hi welcome to chilli's"
"Okay enough you two"
"So amber, you excited for tomorrow?" Wes asked
"Yeah actually i am" She nodded
"You watch horrors amber?"
"I do yeah"
"Tara doesn't! She's a big scaredy cat"

"Might have to keep her company she usually screams and I'm not cuddling her this time so she doesn't"
"Wes! Seriously!"
Amber laughed and smiled
