The next day Jacob, Edward, and Bella all went to school.
It was the day after Bella had saw the two kissing, and she was trying to act as though she hadn't seen it.

Edward and Jacob went to lunch after the first couple classes, and sat together at lunch for the first time.
"How will we tell everyone?" Jacob asked nervously from across the table. "I'm not sure, but it'll be alright." Edward replied, holing Jacob's hand.

Bella sat across the cafeteria with her friends, and tried to forget about what she had seen yesterday. She was horrified. Last had had a crush on Edward just last year, and now he was dating Jacob? Jacob Black?
'No, no. None of it made since.' Bella thought in slight distress, about the fact that her first crush, her first love, was dating the boy she most disliked.

Edward and Jacob went to the next class, which the two had together, and sat down in their seats next to one another, both placing their stuff inside the desks, and then beginning to take notes that were on the board.

"Turn to page 193." The teacher said sitting down at her desk to project the book onto the white board.
