John's POV

I close the door to the infirmary on the verge of tears. He didn't have to help me clean off the writing on my desk. He didn't have to take me to the infirmary and say all of that. But he did anyway, even when I think things can't get any worse for me it automatically does get worse. Whatever, there's no point in thinking about this any longer.

I start to walk to class, I wanted too go to the roof since I can't have some peace anywhere else. But my grades are not good right now. Plus this is the last class I have to deal with before I can go back to the dorms, so why not get it over with.

I then remembered that my head was still injured. Fuck.. I felt an aura near me, I recognized the aura as a healing ability. 'Perfect!' I copied the ability and healed my injuries. I probably could've have done that sooner, but eh..

I walk into the classroom and everyone stares at me in fear, and they start whispering but I don't listen to it. I take a seat and the next class starts. Halfway through the class, the phone rang and Mrs. Rin answered the call. Afterward she looked at the students and spoke.

"John, Principle Vaughn needs you in his office."

Confusion washes over me, did I do something wrong? Whispers are heard throughout the class.

"What did he do this time?"

"Probably picked a fight with someone, or something violent."

"Mabye he's finally getting expelled."

"Nah, we're not that lucky."

"Guys, shut up! He can probably hear us."

Yeah, no shit.

"You are excused from class John, I'll send you the homework for today."

"Okay Mrs. Rin." I walk out of the classroom and go to the office, I wonder why Principle Vaughn needs me. I don't think I did anything wrong, and I didn't do anything. So why am I needed? I reach the office and I hesitantly open the door. My eyes widened and my whole body tenses up, fear settling in my mind.

"John, we meet once again." There, stood Keon. Who was standing next to a green haired woman and looked at me with the same serious look.

Why the hell is he here!? Dammit just leave me alone!!

Flashback

I saw him slamming my head against the metal table, my wrists were red from struggling because of the metal cuffs. "God, stop crying already! You haven't even been here for a week, and you're staying here for 3 months. You're just pathetic, a pathetic, useless, late-bloomer."

Flashback ended.

I finally gain the strength to talk.

"Y-yeah, you've been here twice already.." Every Last cell in my body was telling me to run out of the room. But instead I just stand there, hoping that this was all a dream. My mind was racing, I could barely think. I felt like I couldn't breath, my sight started going foggy.

"John." Principle Vaughn started with a serious tone. "Are you okay?" No.. he wasn't, but he wouldn't admit that. Not in front of him.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I manage to speak, Principle Vaughn is here. As long as he's here Keon can't do anything but whatever he's here for.

"Then please have a seat." I slowly sit down and wait for Principle Vaughn to explain why he was here.

"This is Keon, which I believe you already know, And this is Natalie. Her ability allows her to see if someone's lying, they need to ask you a few questions." Questions? Why do I need to be questioned?
