Chapter Four - #HimAgain

After his relationship with Claudine, we kind of drifted. His parents annulment has been finalized and he transferred to another school. Ang pagkakaalam ko pumunta na raw silang probinsya ng mommy nya. Napuno na rin kase si tita kay tito kaya naghiwalay na sila. Their marriage has no substance anyway, maybe separating is the best choice of tita. 

As for Xeus' affairs, he and Claudine eventually broke up, I was told that it was Claudine who dumped him, emotionally cheating raw kasi ang lalaki, awan ko din ba. Meanwhile, my last year as a junior was dull and monotonous. Dahil sumama na si Ria sa kanyang mommy nawalan na ako ng bff, they migrated at Toronto, Canada. And I was kind of left alone. Even so, we kept in touch and up to this day, we're still contacting each other. Samantalang sina Avery naman ay busy na rin sa kani-kanilang buhay. 

Madalas akong nalulungkot, it felt like an isolation specially everytime I'm pressured to do my best. Plus, there's no Xexus to vent my frustration at, he's the best in terms of consoling me. Nag-uusap pa naman kami through chats, it's just that being a Grade 12 student took most of my time. Thesis, advance calculus, fairs, projects and so many more. And mostly, I changed, wala na yung Yuina na may gusto kay Xeus. 

My world revolved around studies and ice-skating so I didn't had time to socialize.   Mostly, I rely on myself, sinasalo ko lahat ng mga responsibilidad even if it's tolerating the laziness of my groupmates, sadyang wala lang akong tiwala sa kanila. I can do better alone. I'm wary that there's a lot rumor circulating around the school, they're probably talking about me. Maraming nagsasabi na I'm intimidating but that's not true, they're just intimidated by my intellect. 

Alam ko ring maraming may ayaw sa akin kesyo arogante daw ako at feeling alam lahat. Pero wala akong pakialam, I'm an acquired taste and I can't help it, sadyang I use extensive vocabulary in my daily basis. Nonetheless, taken to an extreme, this strategy can intimidate and terrorize.

Wala naman akong ibang problema except for this girl who kept on tailing me. She profusely copy my style and choice, it was kind of irritating. I'm not sure if obsess lang ba talag sya o talagang may sapi ito. She clarified that she wasn't a stalker but rather my biggest fan. Well, hindi ko noon kailangan, I don't need support to outmaneuver anyone. 

As for now, I'm currently walking through the busy hallways, hoping to swoop in the throng. Gusto ko na rin kaseng malaman ang resulta ng ice-skating club. Apparently, I participated the auditions, I wanted to be part of the club for security. And it's a great excuse para hindi ako laging umuuwi ng maaga sa bahay. 

Habang nag-aantay akong humupa ang pagkukumpulan, Sabrina grabbed my hand. Eventhough she's fueling my inner demons, she's quite useful. Akalain mong she managed to get our way without any conflicts. Aaminin kong, madiskarte siya, and that is something I don't possess. 

Confident na naman ako sa magiging resulta, I can handle myself. And like my expectations, pumasa ako. Too bad, kasama ko ang babaeng ito sa club. Unfortunately, she also passed the auditions. At nang malaman na namin ang resulta, pinatawag kaming lahat para sa isang meeting. 

As soon as I met my superiors, I stooped my head low and greeted them with the most oblique and graceful manner. Tumingin pa sa akin si Sabrina, tila ba nagtataka kung bakit masyado kong ginagalang ang mga ito.
