I Love You. Always and Forever

Chapter 3

Nanon's sister opens the door for him when he reaches home. She looks at him  with a smile but her smile turns into concern on seeing his tear stricken face.

Nanon's sis: P Non... What happened? Why are looking so upset?

Nanon: Nothing

Nanon's sis: Did something happen at the workshop? Where is P Ohm?

Nanon starts to cry on hearing Ohm's name.

Nanon's sister starts shouting for her mother in panic.

Nanon's sis: Mom....Mom....Please come here. Something happened to P Non.

Nanon's mother comes running from the kitchen. As soon as he saw his mother , he runs into her arms and hugs her.

Nanon's mom: Non, baby what happened? Why are you crying? Did someone say something bad to you?

Nanon shakes his head to say no.

Nanon's mom: Did you fight with Ohm?

Nanon begins to wail on hearing Ohm's name.

Nanon's Mom: It's okay baby. Don't say anything if you are not ready.  We will talk. Go to your room and take rest.

Nanon's mom ask his sister to take care of her brother. She looks at him in tension as he walks up the stairs with his shoulders slumped down in a defeated manner. She decides to talk to Nanon once he feels better.

2 hours later:

Nanon's mom was about to go his room when the door bell rings. She quickly opens the door as it was pouring out. She was shocked to Ohm standing there completely drenched in rain .

Nanon's Mom: OHM....

Ohm: Hello Aunty. May I come in?

Nanon's Mom: Ofcourse dear.

She ushers him inside and gets him spare clothes to change. She then asks him to sit at the kitchen table as she get him hot tea. They drink the tea in complete silence until Nanon's mom decides to talk.

Nanon's Mom:  Ohm..

Ohm: Yes Aunty

Nanon's Mom: I don't know what happened between you two but Non is in a very bad condition right now. He has been crying nonstop since he came home. Non has always been a quite boy. He hardly opens up to anyone. He has always been the one taking care of everyone around him. But when you and Chimon came into his life, he started to open up a little bit. He felt like he had someone always looking out for him. In the past one year you and Non became closer than before. He started depending on you more. He started laughing more. He became bubbly and cheerful like a child. His father was so happy to find his child so happy. We realized whatever is there between you two has become his lifeline, something he cannot live without. He has fallen in love Ohm. So whatever issues are there between you,  please try to sort it out and bring that smile back on your Non's face.

Ohm nods his head and starts walking towards Nanon's room.

Inside Nanon's room:

When Ohm entered Nanon's room, there was complete silence and darkness as if no one lived there.  As his eyes adjusted to the darkness,  he could make out Nanon silhouette at the window with his head drooping.  It was the first time that Ohm saw such a defeated look on Nanon's face. Ohm could not forgive himself for doing this to Nanon. He slowly moves forward and sits opposite Nanon. Nanon looks at him for a second and then looks outside.

Ohm: Non..

Silence

Ohm: I am sorry Non. I know what I did does not deserve forgiveness. I was so childish and did not even clear things with you. I was frightened Non. I got so involved in what Chimon said that I could not trust my heart which always believed in you. I thought if you loved the Pat in me and not me,  then I would lose you someday. I feared that I wouldn't be able to survive that day. So I tried to distance myself from you to reduce the pain when you leave me. But guess what,  I could not survive even a day away from you. I felt so lost and lonely. I missed your smile so much that I had to see you right away. I am too much in love with you to let you go.
