𝐴𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢|| 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐮𝐧 𝐱 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

The sun was setting in the waves of the Li Yue ocean while you patiently wait for the arrival of your best friend. And more specifically, this best friend is Chongyun, the boy for whom you had such warm and fond feelings. You arranged to meet outside "Wanmin Restaurant" this morning because he was busy searching for the evil spirits that Xingqiu notified him about. You offered him your company in his search, which he refused to, since he didn't want you to get hurt in the process. Despite the fact that you convinced him that everything would be fine with you, he through force still refused.

So here you are, sitting on the stairs, waiting for him, with a couple of ice creams in a small, cold container that you cooked together with Xiangling to surprise him. It wasn't that long before you saw a pair of sky-blue hair peeking around the corner and a pair of cat-slit eyes looking at you. A soft smile reaches your lips, as you wave to him.

Seeing how his eyes light up at the sight of you made you smile wider, as he waves back at you, approaching at a brisk pace. Sitting next to you, he greets you when you greet him in return.

"Have you found any evil spirits?" - you can see how a frown forms on his face when he lowers his eyes to the ground, there are notes of sadness in his tone.

"Unfortunately, no, I haven't found any evil spirits yet." - a sigh escapes his lips, and you are overcome with sadness.

You try to support and cheer him up, trying to keep his passion for exorcism carry on.

"It takes a lot of patience and time to find an evil spirit, and I'm sure that one day you will find it! Just don't give up yet!" - he was grateful that you instead of finding his passion rather strange, kept supporting him throughout all his years of difficult trainings and fails. Feeling butterflies in his stomach, the pink hue reaches his cheeks.

"Thank you for supporting me, I am very grateful!" - your eyes soften, you are happy that you were able to cheer him up.

Soon the exorcist notices a small container in your hands. Following his gaze, you remembered what you had prepared for him, gasping from realization.

"Oh, completely forgot!" - you giggle, finding it rather funny that you forgot about the container that is placed between your hands, despite the fact that it was cold enough to make your fingers a little numb.

"I made some ice cream for you!" - you can see the pure surprise written on his face.

"F-for me?" - feeling his heart pounding wildly from the fact that you cooked something for him, he couldn't help but stutter.

"Yeah! I really wanted to surprise you, so I made some popsicles, of course, with Xiangling's help." - after uttering the last words with awkwardness, you open the container, showing 5 fruit ice creams with different flavors.

"It looks delicious!" - you laugh at the sight of enthusiastic state your best friend is.

"I'm not sure if they are really as delicious as they look, it took a lot of time to make them. I tried to make them as delicious as possible." - knowing your talent in cooking, you shyly avert your eyes.

"I'm sure it really is!" - you feel your cheeks getting warmer from his confidence in your cook-up.

Feeling a warm feeling pass through your body, you hand him the container. He reaches for one and pulls out one with blueberry flavor. After taking a bite, he makes a sound of satisfaction, the coldness of the popsicle is pleasant.

"It's delicious!" - you breathe out with delightment, as you smile at the compliment. Seeing how he enjoys your popsicle, you feel yourself bursting from pride.

"I'm very glad that you like it!" - putting your hands on your hips, you give him a bright smile. His cheeks flush at the sight of it, soon a slight smile appears on his lips. He takes out another strawberry-flavored ice cream and gives it to you.

"I would be more happy if you would accompany me in eating popsicles." - the red tint reaches your cheeks when a thought flashes through your head. Laughing at it, you wanted to try it out.

Gently placing your hand on his hand, which was holding out a strawberry-flavored popsicle, you calmly took a bite, looking at him with half-closed eyes. A smirk appeared on your face when you saw the reaction you expected from him.

His face is red from your action, while his heart is beating at a furious pace. You slowly take the stick that was holding the ice cream out of his light grip, while he sits there, surprised and processing about what happened.

"W-what-" - was all he could manage to squeak out, eating all the ice cream in a second to calm himself and his yang energy. You can't help but giggle at the sight.

"Sorry, you're just so adorable!" - his face turns even redder, reaching for another ice cream, this time with cherry flavor.

"S-stop teasing me, it's not funny at all!" - he exclaims when you start laughing.

"Okay-okay, sorry, I'll stop, anything for my snowflake." - he choked on his popsicle, and you felt bad of what you said to him. You pat him on the back, apologizing again, while he continuously eats his ice cream at a fast pace.

After a couple of minutes, he calmed down after eating his last sunsettia-flavored popsicle. You both enjoy the comfortable silence between you when the moon has already started to rise from the ocean. The atmosphere was serene, and you can't resist the urge to connect your pinkies with him.

Feeling your cheeks redden by the second, while your hand approaches his, hesitant and nervous, as if you might scare him away, you gently touch his little finger.

He shudders, even such a small touch from you sends electricity passing through his body, causing a pleasant shiver go trough his spine. As he turns abruptly to you, seeing your gaze waiting for his permission, he can't help but nod, looking away at the ground. As it was said earlier, he will never be able to say "no" to you. You perk up with his permission and gently connect your pinkies with his.
You can feel the fluttering tenderness and warmth spreading through your body.

"I-I'm really glad that we can share such i-intimate moments with each other." - putting your head on your other free hand, you agree with his statement.

Watching him finish his last ice cream, you admire the sight that has opened before you. These fluffy sky-blue hair, the same colored eyes with pupils similar to cat. Oh, how you love cats, and the fact that your best friend reminds you of one, does not help to resist the desire to stroke and play with his hair. But, you decided to restrain yourself and not torment his poor soul.

Taking all the little features of his face. You feel like time has stopped, and there is only him and you in this world. Slowly turning around, he saw your love-struck look, the look that he wanted to receive only from you. This caused his heart to beat at an incredible speed. Seeing how he melts and gets very excited under your gaze, you feel all fuzzy. Looking away with flushed cheeks, you bask in each other's presence.

I would like to know your opinion about this chapter, how did it come out? Isn't Chongyun adorable? I personally see him like this, and I don't know if he is completely canonical or not, so he can be a bit ooc. Hope you liked it!
