After that fearefull meeting with Jaden, who now calles himself the supreme king, I ran out of the hall. I just needed to get away from all the darkness that was gathering around my friend. Someone who seemed to be a maid escorted me to a room and than left me alone after I requested it. I let myself fall onto the king sized bed and burried myself under the black covers. Tears started to run over my face and I had the bad feeling I would puke any second. The negative energy around this place, especially around Jaden, was crushing me, making me ill. I took a few deep breaths of air to calm myself down. I brushed away the tears on my face and looked around. As far as I knew this relm was filled with duellmonster spirits, so I called out to an old friend of mine.

"Kuriboh..? Are you there?" A few minutes of silence passed but then I felt his presents and heard his voice.
"Kuriii?" Kuriboh popped up in front of my face and snuggeled against it. It looked like he knew I was in sorrow.
"Hey there little fella. How are you?" I took him into my arms and held him close to my chest. I petted his fluffy hair while recalling what happened after I woke up.

-Flashback-

The hall had emptied after the Supreme King ordered it. I was now alone with him. When he called out my name, I turned to him, unsure how to react to him.
"Atima." He took off his helmet and looked directly at me. I was right, it was Jaden, but his eyes looked like they were lifeless, filled with darkness.
"Maybe you don't understand, but you are mine now. You are my queen, the Supreme queen." I shook my head.
"Why me? It doesn't make any sense."
"Like me you habe a dark, strong energy in your body. That's why you are my queen." He stood up and walked up next to my chair.
"You have so much dark energy in that body of yours. I'm surprised you haven't used it." He touched my face and I flinched, hitting his hand away. I glared at him.
"I don't care who or what you are, let go of my friend. Get out of Jaden's body!" I jumped up to face him and in my mind I chanted a spell to blast him. To my surprise the spell never reached him. It was repelled by a forcefield and hit the ceeling instead.
I went pale, I knew exactly what that forcefield was. The Supreme King looked at me, slightly impressed.
"It doesn't matter if you hate me or not. You will not leave this castle and you will be by my side when I call for you." He turned around and started to leave the room.
"Go and rest now, my dear. You will need your energy soon"

-end of flashback-

I hugged Kuriboh once again. He looked at me and called out for a friend of his. Seconds later winged Kuriboh, Jadens Spirit monster, appeared before us, looking just as sad as I was.
I let go of of my little friend and held out my arms for the new arrival.
"You are crying for him too, aren't you?"
"Kurrii..." Winged Kuriboh gave me a sad look and flew onto my lap along with Kuriboh. I started to stroke both of their heads and started to talk to them.

"I don't know what to do... I tried to stop him with some magic but my spell was reflected by... by the Leviar'than barrier. I'm not alowed to help him..." The two creatures looked up to me, confused about what I just said. I chuckled.
"You twi don't know what I'm talking about, right? Well It's like this: I am bound to special rules. I am here to help everyone here through these hard times, to guide everyone on this jouney. But it seemes like Jadens faith has already been written out. I can only sit by and watch as the show will continue. Even if... I would loose everyone I dear so much." Tears streamed down my cheeks once again and the two Kuribohs cried with me for their currently lost friend.

In the end it seemed like I cried mysef to sleep. I was woken up by the voice of the maid that had helped me the night before.
"My Lady" she said and tapped my shoulder. "The King requests for you as soon as possible. If you need anything, I will be right infront of your room." She bowed and took off. I sat up and looked around for my two fuzzy friends from the last night. They had hid thenselfs behind the pillows to avoid the maid. I petted them and smiled.
"Thank you two for staying. I'm not going to ask you to stay any longer by my side, vut if you want to, stay out of Jadens... no, the Supreme Kings views. I have the feeling he wouldn't be happy to see you."

After that I got up and made myself ready. If I wanted or not, I needed to stay by the Supreme Kings side. That was the only way I could know if I could help my friend Jaden or not.
