Complications

The First Encounter.

She looked at the board in front of her, trying to avoid looking into the deep hazel eyes of the one person who always caught her eyes, Diana. Even though deep down she ways thought of herself as a nobody in her eyes, Diana thought differently. Diana looked in front of her at the back of Rein's brunette hair covered head, ¨Psst!¨ she whispered. Rein definitely heard her but she doubted she was trying to get HER attention, ¨There is just no way!¨ she told herself in her mind. But then when she heard it again, she turned around and saw Diana staring right at her! ¨Me?¨ she said in a whisper pointing to herself. ¨Yes, you silly!¨ Diana whispered back. ¨Do you need help with your paper? You looked stumped.¨ Diana asked her without hesitation. ¨Oh! W-would you be willing t-to?¨ Rein asked in a stutter, Diana and her had never talked until then, except the occasional head nod or wave in the hallway. Diana chuckled and smiled at her ¨Are you free after school? I could tutor you if you want!¨ she said quietly but enthusiastic at the same time. Rein looked shocked even though she tried her absolute very best to hide her emotions, ¨Of course!¨ she said a little to loud, she noticed and looked at the front of the class to see not just the teacher but the entire class looking at her and Diana! She looked back at her crush but to see no signs of embarrassment or even care that everybody was staring a them! ¨DETENTION, NOW!¨ The teacher screamed at them, Rein got up slowly but right as she was standing up and about to walk out, Diana grabbed her hand and ran out pulling her along! Rein squeaked when Diana grabbed her hand. ¨ You don't get out much do you Beautiful?¨ Diana asked her as they slowed down. BEAUTIFUL!? Rein's heart raced at the word and she swore her face was as red as the inside of the ripest watermelon! ¨I-i B-but we j-just-¨ Diana then hushed her then they both realized how close they were. After they both jumped back a step and let go of each others hands, they walked to the detention room in silence.
