Complications

Downfall.

The next day Rein was at home by herself do to her parents being gone on some boring business trip to San Francisco. She then heard a knock at her door, she went downstairs and opened the front door but to her surprise there was no one there! She then remember Diana had told her she would come through the back door, she darted for the back yard sliding, glass door and saw Diana holding two cups of coffee and a bag of books! she flung the door open and helped Diana by taking the bag of books. ¨Where do you wanna sit down?¨ Diana asked Rein with a smile. ¨Lets go up to my room.¨ Rein said still half asleep, they went up the stairs and down a semi- short hallway that led them to Rein's room. After about an hour of studying Rein realized how often Diana was staring at her, she wondered why though, because in her mind there was absolutely no possible way she liked her the same way Rein liked her. Rein realized that Diana was blushing, which made her blush in return. Diana stood up and asked where the bathroom was, Rein then told her and she left the room to use the restroom. Rein then realize she had been holding her breathe for some reason, she then let out her air then breathed heavily as though she had just got off a track marathon. Whenever Diana came back to the room she sat down but this time on Reins bed, ¨I brought some movies along with me, I was wondering if you wanted to watch them with me?¨ Diana asked quietly. Rein then stood up and sat close to Diana and nodded yes to her new best friend. They turned off the lights, turned on the LED lights, and turned on the television. Diana realized 30 minutes into their movie Rein was tired and droopy, she moved and position Rein's head onto her shoulder and held her. Rein got butterflies but fell asleep almost instantly. After and hour they both jerked awake to dogs barking. Rein ran downstairs and almost went tumbling the rest of the way down, after she was downstairs she ran outside to see three big dogs chasing a girl about her age. Rein ran out of the house with a baseball bat swinging it at the dogs, the dogs ran off and Rein looked at the girl. ¨Are you ok? What happened?¨she said checking her for injuries. Diana came out right as Rein started checking the girl for injuries, Diana was fuming with anger at the sight of Rein being so close to somebody else. Diana ran up to them hiding her anger ¨ Is everything alright?¨ she asked looking into Rein's eyes completely ignoring the presence of the girl. ¨Yeah i'm TOTALLY fine.¨ The girl said with an attitude clearly noticing the ignorance of her new foe. Rein looked at Diana who was glaring at the girl in front of them. She then looked at the other girl who was also glaring at Diana. ¨OK OK OK! Well me and Diana will be going now!¨ She said shooing Diana towards the front door. The girl waved at Rein and smiled then looked at Diana with pure hatred. After they were inside the girl walked away, and Diana said angrily ¨Well you two were offensively close...¨ Rein was shocked at her crushes striking attitude suddenly. She realized she felt something towards Diana he never felt before, anger. ¨Why do you care so much about how close I am to people anyways?¨ she asked shocked and mad. ¨Because I love y-¨ she stopped herself mid sentence. Diana looked away from Rein in embarrassment and jealousy. Rein sighed and hugged Diana who just shoved her off and ran out of the house crying. After Diana was home she went to her room and screamed into a pillow. ¨STUPID GIRL!¨ she screamed referring to the girl chased by dogs just an hour ago.  Across the street Rein was sitting down in shock from what just happened. ¨What have I done....¨ She asked herself as her eyes welled up with tears.
