Chapter 1: The First Chapter
"Are you kidding me? Why would I ever like someone like you?"
The upperclassman scoffed. Eyebrows furrowed in a haunting glare; a smirk danced on his face. The fiery muscles galloped across the stage in a burning ember, it was pure hatred.
"B-but Psy... we've known each other for years! You're always flirting with me a-and..."
Hitman bang was at a loss for words. The sudden cruelty shown by his childhood friend was enough to send salted pearls streaming down his face. Bejeweled in snot and tears, his face gleamed with shock under the blinding hallway lights.
No matter what he said next, Bang knew his cherished Psy would only deflect with harsh jabs back. So he ran.
His newly shined leather shoes clicked with every melancholic step. Adrenaline waning, Bang found himself at the start of a looming staircase. In desperation and curiosity, he placed his foot atop the first step. It didn't creak under his weight. Everything felt still. The staircase never faltered in its wake, and that he envied. Now angry, Bang stomped up each step, letting violent bangs resound throughout the desolate hall. Each rung out along with the beat of his heart and as he reached the top, he could feel his heart stop. Without anger. Without sadness. He was nothing.
And so Bang reached for the closest door and passed through it, hoping to find and empty room for him to wallow in. Instead he was met with a kind wind leaving hushed kisses upon his tear stained face. Blue lying idly above, patiently waiting for his next breath. Bang stepped further onto the school's rooftop, the crunching of old cherry blossoms tickling his senses as he did.
"What brings a pretty little thing like you up here?"
The voice was raspy, but it still held a youthful lilt at the end of its words. Bang scanned the rooftop for the owner of such an attractive voice. In the corner of his eye, Bang caught a glimpse of a figure clad in the mandatory school uniform, albeit quite messily. The top half of his shirt was left unbuttoned, revealing a toned tan chest underneath. The blazer was tossed over his broad shoulders, leaving his muscular arms visible as the shirt clung tightly to every crevice. Straggly black hair flew in all different directions, and he somewhat resembled that of a majestic lion.
"H-hello! Umm My name is-"
"No need to introduce yourself Sweet Pea. I know who you are. You're the Wonder Kid, Hitman Bang."
Bang's cheeks painted themselves with a bashful crimson. The man in front of him reached an arm out, looking at Bang expectedly.
"The name's Park Jinyoung, but you can call me Jyp."
