I parked my sisters mustang in my parking space. I got out putting my parking pass on my windshield. "Hey,"Karly said. I loved her she was the best.

"Hey bestie,"I responded. I started to walk to the church street high school. But it was just a stupid private school with stupid people. I hated everything about this school except for Karly Steph and Ryker.
I have had a crush on Ryker for a while. I love him. But I mean of course I could never say that. That's just weird. "We need to get to class," I yelped. I hadn't realized the time. 5 minutes till class. "Meet here after class bring everyone else," I exclaimed before running to my locker.54-14-10 I put it into my locker. My books are not here. Ahh Steph probably got them for me she is in my first period class. I ran down the hall to my class. And right as I entered the late bell rang. That was so close. Way too close but instead of Steph handing me my books Ryker did. I had dragons in my stomach forget butterflies. Keep calm. KEEP CALM. My face went red.

"You gonna take your books," he asked.

"Hot," I said not even thinking. Did I just say that?! I'm going to puke.

"Huh?" He questioned in a confused tone.

"Oh it's just hot in here," I said. That was a good save, right?

"Oh yeah it is so are you gonna take your book?" He asked again. I quickly grabbed them and went to my seat. Oh my gosh. Why was that so awkward last year it was never that awkward. I sat in my seat and kinda just tuned out the whole school day.

"Hey class is over," Ryker said. Taking me out of my trance. Everybody had already left.

"Let's go meet everybody by Audrey's mustang,"I said tears about to well up in my eyes .

"Hey it's yours now," Ryker pointed out as his attempt to console me. It was a bad attempt. I liked his effort though. I hugged him I don't know what got into me but I hugged his 6 foot 5 frame. And cried he was a little less then a foot taller then me. I loved him he wrapped his arms around me and he swayed back and forth. I loved this feeling.

"We do need to meet the others though," I said to break the silence.

We left the empty classroom headed to my car.
