The Base Violence Necessary For Change Part 1

I decided to go after her, I rubbed Powdy Puff's head and made my way after her. I closed the door behind me, and tried following Vi. She was only a few steps away but I kept my distance so that she wouldn't spot me. After walking a couple of blocks, she made her way into Benzo's shop… what the hell is she doing? I made my way over to the door, and slowly opened it. Vi turned around to face me and her face was immediately filled with shock and confusion. "No, no, no, no, no." 

I entered inside and closed the door, suddenly I was slammed against the door, I looked at Vi with confusion. "What are you doing here?" She looked at me with worry, "What are you doing here in Benzo's shop?" She looked away from me, "They're not gonna stop coming here until they have someone…" I slowly started to piece the puzzles together. "So you were just gonna give yourself up to the enforcers." She nodded her head. "It was my fault to begin with. I'm the one who forced you guys to come along." I walked a little closer to her.

"So you were just gonna leave us, thinking that we wouldn't notice you were gone?" She looked at me with sadness in her eyes. "You'd be better off without me." "That's not true!" I grabbed her shoulders tightly so she could look at me completely. "The guys need you, your sister needs you… I need you. I care about you." She looked at me with shock in her eyes, I released my grip and backed up a little bit, because I think I crossed the line when I said that. "As a friend, obviously." 

I felt Vi's hand cup my cheek, I stared into her bluish eyes. "Do you… really?" I started to get embarrassed. "W-w-what? Of course I do, I mean why wouldn't I?" She just continued to stare at me, I turned my face away. "Can you please just say something… it's getting pretty embarrassing with you just staring." "I care about you too, Y/n." I turned to Vi, who was surprisingly pretty close to my face, this was cut short when we heard a knock at the door. Vi got in front of me almost immediately. The door broke down and it's revealed to be Vander and Benzo. "Vander?" "Benzo?" Vander makes his way over to us.

"We don't have much time." "How did you find us?" Vander  places his hands on Vi… he got them BIG hands. "I'm proud of you. Always have been." He rests his GIANT hands on Vi's shoulders, she looked down. "I'm sorry, I… This is the only way to protect the others." I couldn't help but smile at what she said, it really goes to show what she's willing to do to right her wrongs. "Vander." I looked at Benzo who was still hanging by the door, I heard some dogs barking in the background. "You've got a good heart. Don't ever lose it. No matter how the world tries to break you. Protect the family." "What are you-" All of a sudden Vander pushed us in the basement, and I ended up accidentally falling to the ground. "Y/n!" I looked up to see the door closed in front of us.

Vi immediately grabbed my hand and pulled me up, I stood tall on my two feet. Vi started banging on the door like crazy, "Vander!" "Let us out!!" I ran up to the door, trying to unlock the door to no avail. I heard the store door open, I grabbed Vi's hands and placed them close to me. "What are you doing?!" I glared at her because I wasn't a fan of her tone, "Listen you may have strong muscles, but you're not gonna break the damn door open. And I can't hear what they're saying if you keep banging it!" I let go of Vi's hands, and I put my hands and ear against the door so I can listen clearly. 

"You're gonna let us make the arrest or not?" "You'll oblige a doomed mad one last smoke, Won't you?" "I'm not putting you away, Vander." "Without you down here, it all falls apart." "Benzo will handle things. He may not have my devilish charm, but he runs a tight ship." I felt banging against the door, I looked up to see Vi with tears In her eyes, "Vander, no, You can't do this!!" I slowly started to get teary-eyed myself.  Vanders was gonna be taken away, and me and Vi couldn't do anything to stop it. I pulled myself away from the door, and I wrapped my arms around Vi's neck. She continued crying into my shoulder, I rubbed her shoulder, I let go of her and looked into her eyes.
