Heeseung and Sunghoon has been a couple for many years more than they can count now. Heeseung know that at some point Sunghoon has already stopped liking him but he still tried to win his heart back, until one day he couldn't take it anymore and said something that shocked everyone including Sunghoon when he finally proposed. (Storyline)
The couple was out with their 5 other friends of the group, they all decided to meet up and hang out at the mall, but things don't always go right.
"Jakey~" Sunghoon called out when the 2 spotted their friends, which he ran over to him and gave him a tight hug.
It's a hug that Heeseung had sincerely missed, it made him redraw back to the old times where he used to give him the hugs like the ones in the scene.
He wondered, what happened for everything to change now? Does he still love me? Do you perhaps love Jake? From the very beginning?
When he saw them hugging each other smiling happily his heart clenched, it wasn't something new but it still hurts like shit, it really did.
Soon his other friends came over to him and dragged him along with them.
Throughout the whole trip at the mall the only thing Heeseung saw was a big smile plastered on his boyfriend's that he hasn't seen in a while, he even almost forgot how it looked like.
When they got back home Sunghoon went directly to their shared room without saying anything. Heeseung then went to the bathroom for a nice warm shower, tears finally letting itself fall freely when he got the privacy that he needed.
After the hangout everything got worst, scenes like.
"I'm home~," Sunghoon yelled when he entered the building.
"Hoon you're back, why are you drunk again?" Heeseung said greeted by his boyfriend.
"Jake-ah I missed you," he replied smiling stupidly.
Heeseung's eyes immediately got watery when he heard Jake's name from him, is Jake really the only person in his head now?
Even feeling all hurt he still made porridge for him and brought him to bed.
And like.
Hee just finished his shower and got out seeing his boyfriend now laying in bed. Before he walked over to him he can see from the mirror reflection that he was staring at his phone smiling brightly, looking closely he can see Jake's picture on his phone. It stabbed his heart right there and then once again.
The next thing he witnessed was worst, Sunghoon clicked on the audio that Jake sent days ago, but still he was laughing to the little jokes that he sent him.
Present
All the scenes that appeared in his memories, Heeseung is still thinking about if he should really let go or not.
He really don't know anymore, he knows himself that he loves Sunghoon more than anything, but seeing Sunghoon all happy with Jake it makes him happy at some point too and he doesn't want to take that away from him. Also knowing that Jake loves him too makes his hope even weaker on their relationship.
Heeseung also knows that they(Sunghoon and Jake)loved each other in the past before they were official and he knows that they still can't forget about each other. Would it be better if he didn't walk into their life in the beginning leaving both of them alone? Would he not be hurt if all this never happened?
In the past few days all kinds of questions were roaming around in his head and finally the day has came, Sunghoon is finally gonna confess because of his parents.
"Heeseung will you marry me and bring out relationship to another level?" Sunghoon asked with his signature smile that was sweeter than honey and it confused Heeseung, he doesn't know if that was a real smile or not now.
"I- Sunghoon let's break up..." Heeseung said weakly and carefully before looking down feeling tears starting to build itself up.
"W-what?" he asked shocked from his announcement along with all their friends.
"Stop lying to yourself and me myself, you don't love me anymore or perhaps you never did. You love Jake you can't forget about him and we both know that. Getting home late every-time, drunk saying his name, looking at his photos smiling like an idiot, listening to his voice messages laughing to his jokes. And still I believed that you still and will love me back, how silly is that," Heeseung cried out with his eyes closed and a forced smile but his tears failed him, already started flowing down uncontrollably.
It left Sunghoon speechless, he didn't know what he can say to that, it was true of what Heeseung said.
He has fell out of love or maybe he never did, it was just his parents.
Even Jake who sat beside them was taken back, he never knew that Sunghoon still loves him, of course he did himself but seeing his dare friend sad like that hurts him even more.
"I'm sorry, I really am," Sunghoon said slowly with his now redden eyes.
"I'm finally letting you go now, I'll talk to your parents about this don't worry about it. And remember that I once loved you," Heeseung said finally opening his eyes to meet with Sunghoon's which broke him even more.
Sunghoon then again whispered a poor Sorry, what does that do? It wouldn't heal his broken heart, it's already broken it can be replaced.
Not hearing the words that he wanted instead being replaced with another sorry out of pity, Heeseung knew that he truly lost the game of love, yes he doesn't love him anymore.
Just like that Heeseung walked out of the scene with a shattered heart, that'll be hard to be healed and hard to trust anyone with his love.
