chapter 13

Anne POV-

I woke up and thought about Shawn and last night. Someone knocked on my door. I opened and it was Mary

She just stood there and then she smiled

"What? Why are you-" I starred at her

"You read my memory did you!" I pulled her in my room and locked the door behind us

"Tough love" she said still reading my mind

"Stop!" I said shaking her

"Oh my god you were going to do it with him?!" She said still reading

"Stop reading!!" I shook her but she still read. I slapped her and she stopped

"I'm coming in" Susan yelled from the outside of my door

I let go of Mary and Susan came in

"How did you come in? I locked it" I starred at Mary but was talking to Susan

"I have a new ability" she smiled "and so does Mary" I looked at Mary

"I can read numbers in a different way. Its kind of like dyslexia but its helpful in many ways" I looked at Susan and she starred at me

"I can unlock doors. With my nails" she smiled I looked at her hand and she turned her hand into some unlocking key

"When did you guys get your abilities??" I asked sitting on my computer desk.

"The day Matthew came to Cameron's and Nashs house" Mary said

"I'm going to go. Breakfast is ready" Susan said walking out of my room

"Okay tell mom I'll be there in a few" I yelled out to Susan since she was already downstairs

"How did you gain abilities?" I asked Mary

"Just concentrate on something and then you'll find out what it is" Mary said leaving my room

I brushes my teeth and tied my hair up. I went downstairs and saw a huge mess!

"Its a mess down here!" I laughed

"Anne" my mom said

"Hmm?" I said looking at her and walking to her

"Can you use your abilities and help me out" she said

"Abilities? I don't have abilities" how did she know I asked to myself

"Okay stop joking around just clean it up" she said

My mom speaks English when she's not in a good mood

"Mom I don't have abilities but I do have an ability to eat and sleep" Mary and Susan laughed

"Anne!! CLEAN IT UP!" she grabbed my shoulder and pushed me away from the food

"Okay" I didn't use any of my abilities. I just cleaned like a normal person.

"Anne!" My mother yelled

"What!?" I tbrew the bag to the ground causing me to break a glass from far away

"Never mind" she said turning around and walking

I rolled my eyes and just cleaned up. It took me 2 and a half hours to clean it up. I didn't eat breakfast.

My phone buzzed and it was Kate.

"Hello?" I said

"We need you to come to the lab like right now!" She whispered

"Why are you--" I heard a different persons voice and there was things being thrown to the ground. I heard everything that was going on

I ran out of the house and ran a little farther since people were looking at me. Once no one was looking at me I used my speed and ran to the lab

"Kate!" I whispered her name

I heard someone behind me and I turned around. I was litterly about to hit Kate in the face.

"Oh my god Kate what happened?!" She had blood on her leg and arms

"Dr. Wills" she said pointing at a direction

I saw Dr. Wills leg under a heavy metal thing

"Dr. Wills!" I ran to him and picked up the heavy metal thing but I couldn't

"Call Shawn and Matthew" he said

"Okay but I don't have--" I heard a noise. It was a loud thud.

"Its her. Go get her" Dr. Wills said

"But Dr.Wills your leg" I said looking at him

"I'll be fine just go get her" he said groaning in so much pain

I ran to where the loud banging was and I saw some girl throwing Matthew everywhere is the room. Shawn was there too. He was fighting the girl.

"Oh.my.god! JOE?!" I said looking at the girl. She wasnt a very nice girl. I knew her since I was little. We used to be best friends but then she changed

She turned around and saw me. She came running to me but I just ran a different way. I ran to Matthew and helped him up.

"Get away from him!" She said

"No Joe! You stay away from him!" I said putting Matthews arms around my neck and helped him up. He had a broken leg and hand. He couldn't walk

"Shawn take Matthew to Kate! AND HELP DR. WILLS!! HIS LEG IS UNDER
SOMETHING HEAVY!" I yelled at him

Shawn used his speed and ran out of the room

"Joe you don't--" she tackled me

"I'm sorry Anne--" I punched her in the face. I threw her across the room and I got up.

"I don't want to fight you Joe!" I said brushing the dust off my hands

"Why wouldn't you! I was so mean to you!" She said getting up

"That was the past! This is now were talking about!" I said walking to her

"Alright fine we'll fight!" She ran to me and punched me but I grabbed her fist and hit my head on hers then punched her in the face

After 30 minutes of fighting Joe she finally got beat up and stopped trying.

I grabbed some chains and tied her arms together really tight.

I took her to a special room where she can't get out and I went to where Kate, Matthew, Dr. Wills and Shawn were at

"Anne I need you to pop Matthews arm and leg back in place" Kate said holding him down

"Why can't Shawn do it?" I said

"Because he's taking Dr. Wills to the hospital" she said holding Matthew down

I walked to him and looked at him. He was beat up badly

"1 2 3!" I popped his shoulder and he groaned

"A little more gentle would be great!" He said bitting onto a shirt

"We both know that I can't be gentle when I'm around you" I grabbed his leg and popped it in place while he was talking

Matthew groaned and this time since he was squeezing onto some bars he broke them in half
