Hello! Author-sama here! This is just a heads up on what is to come in this story!
A) This story is based on the DaiyaKure ship from Danganronpa.
B) Kaito is a ship child, and unless specified in a oneshot, is 6 years old. (And so is the rest of the V3 cast.)
C) This will take place DURING the events of Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc and Ultra Despair Girls. Please do NOT read unless you are aware of the events that occur in those 2 games.

Now with that, The actual story and plot!
Hagakure Yasuhiro and Oowada Daiya were best friends for all of Elementary School, but when time came for primary school, the two had felt something... They both felt it, but neither wanted to say anything about it. It wasn't until one day of their first year, Hagakure decided to take it upon himself to ask out his crush, but instead of using words, he simply smashed his lips on Oowada's, realize what he just did, then run away. It was rather awkward, but it got its point across. After that, they started dating. They had never been closer. One was hardly ever seen without the other. Eventually, during the summer transitioning to high school, they adopted a kid. He was only a baby and put into care due to his mother passing during labor, and his dad having gone missing. The two decided to name the boy Kaito. Kaito Oowada. After that, they starting going to highschool. With them both being over 20, they decided that "Fuck it let's get married," and that's exactly what they did. Freshly married, adorable 6-year old kid, and an undying love for eachother that only death could break. To top it all off, they were only now about to graduate high school. It all felt too good to be true... And it was... One day, tragedy struck. The family ended up divided. Hagakure trapped in Hope's Peak Academy and Oowada sealed out. The worst part of it is, monochromatic bears known as Monokumas are running all around the city, killing anyone that gets in their way.
This story looks through both Hiro and Daiya's eyes as Hiro goes through the killing game, and while Daiya struggles on the outside, not only to protect himself, but Kaito, as well. This is a story I'm hella excited for and cannot wait till it's done! It is gonna be looooooong though, so completing it is gonna take a minute, but yeah!
