Past

After that night, Artemis had gotten pregnant with Perseus's child. Artemis wasn't happy about it, but on the other hand, Perseus was delighted. Artemis named their daughter Scarlett. After their daughter was born, she was not treated kindly by everyone around her. Scarlett hardly had any friends in the hunt. Artemis never acknowledged her existence. the only person who cared about her was her father

Zeus's paranoia grew day by day. No one knew Perseus's domains; he refused to talk about them. Zeus made a dagger that could dampen Perseus's powers, so if he were to ever go against him, he could easily dispose of him. The dagger was built from a piece of metal from Kronos's scythe. It was dipped in all of the rivers of the underworld, blessed by all the Olympians and Hades (they were forced to). The dagger held immense power.

12 Years Later

The past 12 years have been rather hard for Perseus and her daughter. Artemis didn't acknowledge Scarlett and, hence, overlooked the hunters mistreatment of her. One unfortunate day (for Perseus and his daughter), Artemis stumbled upon Orion. She was awed by his skills and offered him a place in the hunt, which he obviously accepted. After he joined the hunt, it became a living hell for Perseus and his daughter.

Perseus POV:-

It was a typical day; it started up as Artemis barged into my tent and poured hot water on me to wake me up. As I woke up, she shouted at me for not waking up on time. Now one of my domains was time, and I knew it was 4 o'clock in the morning. She gave me a list of tasks and told me to complete them before breakfast and then cook a feast for her hunters for brunch. The hunters eat a lot, and when I say a lot, I mean a lot. They ate five giant deer for breakfast once, and they were hungry again after 2 hours.

As the sun rose, I started with my chores. After 3 hours, I started with breakfast as hunters came out of their tents. As I was cooking, I felt someone wrap their hands around me, and I immediately knew it was my daughter.

"Good morning, Scar", I said as I cooked some meat and prepared some sandwiches

"Good morning, dad, so what are you cooking", she said as she removed her hands from around my waist.

"I am cooking three deer and 40 sandwiches", I said, finishing up the sandwiches.

"Dad, why can't we leave the hunt? I don't want to stay here. I want to go to grandpa and play with Mr.Dolphin" Scarlett said, looking down at the ground. I turned around and crouched down

"I promised your grandfather and the Olympian council to be the guardian of the hunt."

She looked down, disappointed. "Okay, dad," she said as she left the tent

I finished preparing all the food before the hunters came back from bathing and set everything up.

As I finished setting everything up, the hunters and Artemis came and sat.

Orion sat next to Artemis. I looked at Orion and saw the lust in his eyes, and then I looked at Artemis and saw the love she had for Orion in her eyes. it pained me as I left to continue finishing my chores

By noon, I finished my chores and went to take a bath. After that, I started cooking dinner for the hunters.

I finished cooking their dinner and then set it up on the table. The hunters came and started devouring the food. As I was looking, I noticed a hunter's face; she had been crying. I decided to ask her after dinner why she was crying.

After some time, I heard a cry from camp, and as I rushed there, I saw my daughter in a celestial bronze net. The hunters had gone out to hunt monsters. When he went near her to free her, suddenly something hit me in the head so hard that it knocked me out.

3rd Person POV:

After some time, Orion took some water and woke up Percy. Percy was trapped in Celestial Bronze chains and was using the dagger to weaken him

As Percy woke up, he saw his daughters' hands tied, and she was crying. He yelled, "Leave her alone, you scumbag; let her go". He looked at Orion and said, "She is just a little girl; why are you doing this? What did we do to you to deserve such hate?" he yelled at him. He was crying, begging him.

"She was a mistake—a drunken mistake. Artemis doesn't even recognize her as her own.", He yelled at him.

Orion started to rape her. Percy yelled to let her go, and he screamed again and again. But nobody was there to help him and his daughter

Orion ignored Percy and continued raping her. soon he finished with her, he looked at Percy and pulled his pants up

"you claim you are the strongest god, so give me your domains; pass them up to me or she dies," he said, grabbing her by the neck

He continued screaming to let her go, but he didn't listen and finally snapped her neck. He quickly ran out of there to go find Artemis and the hunt.

Scarlett's lifeless body fell to the ground with a thud. Soon, anger flowed through his veins as he screamed, releasing a bit of his aura and breaking the chains.

He couldn't believe it; he was crying there until, out of the forest, the hunters came. Orion was beside Artemis, talking with her like he was always beside her and never left.

He ran over to his daughter's body. He took her head onto his lap and continued crying.

They all soon saw the sight, Artemis rushed beside her daughter, "What happened to her.", she asked Perseus

He looked at Orion and yelled, "He killed her; he raped her and killed her." He yelled at Orion before standing up and summoning his armor and sword.

Artemis looked at Orion before standing up, summoning her bow, and aiming at Percy. "You are lying; he would never do that. He loved her. You killed her, didn't you, you monster?" She screamed at Percy before shooting an arrow at him.

The arrow didn't do much to him since he was wearing armor. "You are crazy; she was my daughter. You are crazed by your love for him. It has clouded your judgment." He yelled at Artemis. His aura was now starting to form cracks in the ground. Grass and flowers were dying around him. Artemis quickly teleported her, Orion, and her hunters out of there.

He released his full aura and revealed his true form. It incinerated the entire camp and the trees near it. Soon, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

He looked up and saw a woman with ebony hair wafting in the cold current. Her face appeared delicate and sublime. Her obsidian eyes were full of pity for him.

She was wearing a purple and black dress that billowed around her like volcanic smoke. Her lipstick, eye shadow, and mascara were all expertly done in shades of midnight

"you have suffered a lot, Perseus For that, I release you from all your oaths you ever took upon me", she said as she crouched down next to him and spoke, "Come with me; we will give her the proper funeral that she deserves and let me train cause I see your future and you need to be prepared for what awaits you." He nodded slowly as they both flashed out
