The awkward Girls Journey To Finding Love

Chapter 1

It started with a horrific headache as Sage woke and her mothers yelling didn't help. She got up to get ready for school but her eyes couldn't focus she tried her hardest to not let the headache get to her, unfortunately to no avail it didn't help.

The day was uneventful she went from moment to moment trying hard to focus on finals but all she could think about was the girl she saw in the beautiful golden gown, she thought it was envy she was feeling inside but deep down she knew it was something else that she had never experienced before.

Sage decided she needed to figure out her emotions before talking to her friend dahlia, she wracked her brain over and over, searching deep in her heart for the explanation to her feelings, after talking to her best friend Debra(debbs) about what should she do, she couldn't stop thinking of dahlia and how she felt seeing her in that dress brought on feelings she never felt before .....

Debbs suggested that she confess to dahlia because it sounded as if sage was madly inlove with her, sage decided on doing a lyrics prank/confession to dahlia. After she got home she found the perfect song to do confession with, it was jenny by studio killer.

Sage:dahlia, darling, you're my best friend
Dahlia:I think debbs would fight you on that
Sage: but there's a few things that you don't know of
Dahlia:Ok?
Sage: Why I borrow your lipstick so often
Dahlia: but we haven't seen each other since prom?
Sage:I'm using your shirt as a pillow case
Dahlia: you don't have a shirt of mine tho silly
Sage: I wanna ruin our friendship Dahlia:Oh ok did I do something wrong
Sage:We should be lovers instead Dahlia: uhhh I have to go my parents need me.

Sage was distraught thinking she ruined her friendship with dahlia over such a selfish reason, she kept overthinking because dahlia didn't message the rest of the day. Sage told debbs what happened but the only advice Debra could was to stay calm and that dahlia probably was really just helping her parents.

The next day sage was again woken up with pounding headache but this was different to the previous one this was full of worry and hopelessness, again sage couldn't focus she almost that she was going to bomb the finals
But the at lunch she got a message...

Dahlia: hey Sage we need to talk Sage: hey sorry I'm in class can we talk after?
Dahlia: Oh sorry hey we can talk later.

Sage didn't know why she would say that when she wasn't in class and she's even more worried now, what Dahlia does want to talk about, she couldn't focus on school now not she was anyway, Sage was overwhelmed with thoughts of the talk that was about happen in a few hours.

Sage got home and tried to find a miniscule amount of courage to talk to dahlia and apologize for what happened hoping they could forget about it and move on, she bit the bullet and messaged her.

Sage: hey I'm home now sorry about that.
Dahlia: hey about what happened the other day.
Sage: oh yeah sorry about that you don't have to worry we can just forget about it.
Dahlia: sage we have to talk about it. Sage: No we don't dahlia we can just forget about it.
Dahlia: well then sage I'm just going to say what I have to say then I'm not ready for a relationship I don't want to hurt you because I'm going through stuff right now so right now I think we should just be friends. Sage: oh ok no problem.
Dahlia: are we okay still?
Sage: yeah we're okay :)

Sage was heartbroken she finally found her true self and the first time she puts herself out there she gets friend zoned, and when she confides in debbs about what just happened debbs says that's just life and that she needs put on her big girl pants and move on because waiting would a waste of her time (what a friend :\)

Sage was went days wishing she never listened to debbs regret growing ever more deep in her heart and mind.

Sometimes she thinks life would be better without her, thats how much toll the heartbreak affected sage it went so deep she thought of ending it but while everything was falling apart sage met the person who would save her .
A girl named Lillian saved her and she found purpose in life again.
