Questions, so many questions...

Amelia's POV

"Miss Parker?" growning, I look at the clock at 2:28 AM.

Rolling out of bed, I respond to J.A.R.V.I.S. saying, "Yup, I'm awake," in my groggy morning voice.

"Miss Parker, Mr. Stark requests to see you before departure," by the few months I have lived at the Avengers Compound, I eventually found J.A.V.I.S.'s robotic voice normal.

"Okay," I responded as I finished tying my converse to the outfit I had picked out the night before and heading to the door, with my backpack slung over my shoulder. All of the rest of my clothes and weapons had already been flown out last night.

I make my way to Tony's lab, as he walks to the other end, he pauses to send me a quick smile.

"I heard you wanted to see me?"

He set the strange metal object in his hands onto the table he just approached, "I talked to Peter late last night, I think you two should split up for a bit," my face dropped, Peter, my brother, my best friend. He noticed this and responded, "I know this is sudden," he looked over my face to read me, but no one can read me, "but I was thinking that you could live with Derek," once again, I almost lost it on Mr. Stark, "visit often, of course," he was trying so hard to make this okay, but my face was giving him a hard time trying to relay that message, "and go to school in Beacon Hills. You could give reports on what is happening, help out Derek and Scott's packs," now he was just B.S.ing things, "But this is only if you are comfortable."

As I open my mouth to speak my rebuttal, but he knows what's coming, and he cuts me off, "Decide while you are there," I nodd, knowing he wants to know if I feel safe in Beacon Hills, "deal?"

"Deal."

...................................................

The quinjet ran with a hum of the engine and wish of the wind.

Tony rounded everyone up to answer questions and explain what was happening in greater detail.

"Who is Derek?" Thor's dark voice was heard first.

"Derek is a friend of mine from a few years ago, and is," he paused, as if to consider telling us or not, "never mind, that is his secret to share."

"What secret?" Natasha was next

"Derek will meet us at the warehouse and will explain then," Tony seemed annoyed already.

"Why are we doing this?" I say, even more annoyed than Tony

Everyone's tired eyes revert to me, "Derek called me, asking me the status on Loki, saying that he had seen Loki in Beacon Hills. Which turned out to not be him, but sparked my interest in the area, and you won't know if anything weird is happening because everything in that town is weird," he says the last part under his breath, but it is still heard throughout the jet clearly.

What could be so strange about this town?

But I had no idea what was ahead for me.
