Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Did we escape?

BAILEY'S POV

I lay down on the floor pretending to be dead from the poison air.

Zoey laying down right by me too acting dead.

I close my eyes and I can hear a door open and people coming into the room.

"Entering a room live. Stand by.", I hear someone say walking towards where we are.

"Standing by.", I hear someone else say to that person.

"We have three bodies. Over.", I hear the person say and I can hear their footsteps.

"Copy", I hear someone say.

"20 minutes for disposal and clean-up. Over.", I hear women say to the other person.

"Copy. Out.", I hear the person say.

I open my eyes and I see two people in suits but I can't see their faces.

The two people are facing their backs to us so they can't see us right now. They are looking at the mask Zoey and I was using.

I see Zoey open her eyes too.

I bring a finger to my mouth for her to be quiet. I point my finger to the stand and motion to hit them.

Zoey nods and gets the stand and I quietly get the stand we were using to hit all the cameras too.

Zoey looks at me and nods. "Look at that, the oxygen mask. What the hell were they going to do with that?", the person says looking at the mask.

I take my stand to get ready. "Breath, bitch!", I say hitting the first person screaming.

Zoey hits the other person's head and we knock them out to sleep. I breathe deeply because we were holding our breath.

Zoey and I look at each other. I grab the gun and almost fall because it was really hard to do it.

Zoey and I look at the people on the floor. I hold the gun in front of me to protect us just in case.

I walk into the hallway and it's really empty. It's as if no one was here at all in the building.

I just want to get out of here. I don't even know how Zoey and I survived it but Zoey was right.

I hope Ben is okay, I can't believe Jason killed Mike.

I knew he was a really selfish person and only cared for himself. I hope Jason gets what he deserves.

3Rd PERSON

Ben escapes the room and walks down the stairs limping in pain.

Ben walks down the stairs slowly and sees a screen with all the people he played with.

An X mark on their picture means they died including Zoey and Bailey. Ben limps slowly and walks to sit on the empty couch.

Ben stands up looking around because on the screen he's the winner. Ben is really confused and wants to go home.

"Now, you were a dark horse. My money was on Jason. But, see, that's why these games are so fascinating. Somehow, after being burnt, frozen, poisoned, and crippled...you still managed to escape the final room.," Someone says.

Ben looks around the room trying to find the person who is saying this.

"Do you ever think you had that in you? That adrenaline, that drive?", the person says to Ben.
