3rd person pov
Hours earlier? (filler)**
"You're so cute when you're nervous" Haru said messing with Legoshi's tail, "Emiko texted me" Legoshi said showing Haru the text he recieved from Emiko making Haru sigh and saying, "You still haven't told her?" Legoshi ran his fingers through his fur feeling bad, "It's not that I'm not going to- it's the fact that I can't make up for the damage I've done" Haru frowned, the two animals felt bad keeping things a secret from Emiko and knew that it needed to be said. So much had happened during this month and the current month, it all started when Haru made the mistake of thinking Legoshi wanted to have sex with her, then after a few days of Legoshi being with Emiko- Legoshi started to hangout with Haru because he couldn't get rid of her scent that lingered in his mind. They spent every passing hour together and soon started to catch feelings for each other, after finishing the dinosaur for the festival, Legoshi and Haru had a hell of a night. Legoshi had saved Haru from a gang that wanted to examine her body before killing her and selling her parts to the black market.
While Emiko, not knowing any of this, had a girls night with Juno to get to know her better and make new friends for this school year. Days after that Legoshi never told Emiko nor explained why he ghosted her especially after saying they loved each other. Legoshi even went to get trained by a panda and spent all of his time being with Haru than his actual girlfriend. "I need to tell her" Legoshi thought out loud, Haru shrugged placing her hand on top of Legoshi's, "I saw her with another wolf when I was leaving the dining hall" Haru said looking up at Legoshi. "Maybe she's moving on" Haru finished making Legoshi's ears drop, he decided to leave it alone even though that was a bad idea and continued on with his day with Haru.
Regular time**
The sound of small birds chripping made Emiko wake up, stirring to wake up and feeling around, she sprung up to not feelings Kyo next to her, "Kyo?" Emiko's raspy voice called out rubbing her eyes to see clearly. "Yes?" flicking her ear to the sound of his voice caused her to get out of bed and seeing him standing over the counter, he was wearing a white tank top and her brothers shorts. "How long have you been up?" making her way to him trying to see what he was doing, "Long enough to make us some breakfast, you like pancakes, right?" Emiko blushed smiling, "I do, thank you for making breakfast" grabbing them plates and cups, Kyo smiled placing the pancakes onto the plate. "I didn't know you could cook" Emiko said enjoying her pancakes, "Yeah my mom wanted my brother and I to learn how because she somewhat felt left out of the loop of our teachings" Kyo said sipping his milk afterwards. Once they were both done with their breakfast, Emiko cleaned up and put them in the sink to be washed later, "Would you like to watch a movie?" Emiko asked moving toward the couch. "Love to" Kyo said sitting down next to her, it was an old movie about a horse becoming free once again, Emiko and Kyo cuddled once again and would comment on things during the movie.
It was a good relaxing moment for the two until Emiko's phone ruined the moment by various texts from Juno and Louis, asking different questions. Juno asked generic questions like 'wyd' or 'can we facetime tonight?' while Louis asked if he could come over because he was bored in his room. Emiko didn't respond back to her texts and decided to respond later when she could, Kyo had laid his head on Emiko's lap enjoying the feeling of her fingers run through his fur. It was calming for the two escaping into their own worlds while in each others company, some would say that they looked like an old married couple enjoying their time together. "I hate to ruin this moment but I do need to go back to my dorm to put on some fresh clothes" Kyo said smiling awkwardly, Emiko shook her head understanding, "Don't worry about it, uhm do you want to come and spend the night again or do you want space?" Kyo sat up thinking of what to say next. "Well I'd love to come back but I do need to call my parents so I may be a while" Emiko smiled understanding that family was important, "Again don't worry, just let me know if and when you're coming back" Emiko lead Kyo to the door opening it for him.
"Okay, I also was thinking about ordering some food so we can eat something that isn't from the cafeteria" Kyo chuckled with his dirty clothes in hand, "That's fine, don't forget to text me when you're almost here" Emiko said saying 'bye' to Kyo as he walked off to go to his dorm hall. Closing the door, Emiko got a facetime call from Haru which was out of the norm for Emiko, feeling anxious- she answered and saw Haru and Legoshi. This made Emiko's heart ache and not in a good way, "Emiko- so glad you answered, we have something to tell you and sorry it had to be over the phone like this" as Haru said this, Emiko had placed her phone on a shelf so she was able to see and hear them. "I'm confused what's happening?" Emiko said feeling even more anxious and annoyed, Legoshi's ear flattened through the screen while Haru sighed being the only one speaking, "Legoshi and I have been seeing each other this past month and we're sorry to tell you like this but-" Emiko had hung up on Haru feeling angry and felt a mental breakdown was going to happen.
Emiko's pov
How could I have been so stupid?! He said that he loved me and yet he went behind my back to be with Haru? Why? WHY?! What did I do to be treated this way and to deserve this? I don't deserve this nor to be told over the phone instead of in person- I need to remove them from my phone now.
I couldn't bring myself to cry nor could I even speak or think about it. I needed to tell Louis and Juno- While I was removing their numbers I knew Haru kept calling me and texting to answer back to her but I never did nor wanted to. I ran my fingers through my fur in frustration, my ear flicked when I heard my phone ring again- it was Kyo, sighing I clicked on his message.
Kyo εїз - I'm heading back, I brought spare clothes if that's okay
ME ❀ - That's fine
Kyo εїз - Great- oh and I'm at your door :3
Opening the door and seeing Kyo made me feel calmer than I did before, I went to hug Kyo holding him tight and slightly clawing his back as I hugged him, his heart was beating so fast. "A-Are you okay?" I buried my face into his chest, nodding to answer his question, "Not feeling to hot right now" I looked up at Kyo seeing his dark eyes stare back at mine. This felt soothing and make my nerves go away, "How about we put a movie on, I can order us some pizza and we'll cuddle until our food comes and until you're ready to talk" I couldn't help but kiss his cheek and have my hands cup his face. "Thank you for not prying" I pulled away which made my ears go flat but I soon pulled Kyo's hand to my bed, I looked down and saw Kyo's tail wag excitedly which made me smile. "I was thinking we could watch a scary movie unless you don't like scary movies" Kyo said while we got comfy under the covers, "I don't hate them but I do get scared like any other normal girl who doesn't frequently watch scary movies" I said laughing a bit.
"How about Get Out?" Kyo asked pressing play, I moved closer to Kyo laying my head on his shoulder, as the movie played I would jump a bit and comment on somethings while Kyo had gotten up to grab our pizza and drinks. We had our pizza and watched a more cheerful show to get rid of my paranoia that I had got from the scary movie, "How was the call with your parents?" I looked up at Kyo before taking a sip of my drink. Kyo made a face, "It went well, they told me that they're going to one of their close friends sons wedding- I think his name is Rin" my ears perked up making me look at Kyo. "That's my brother" Kyo looked at me surprised as he was about to bite his pizza slice, I laughed swiping my mouth with a napkin, "Your parents know my parents?" I asked confused. Kyo shrugged his shoulders, "I-I guess so? I don't really meet my parents friends because they said it's for business" I groaned agreeing with what Kyo said.
"Well my parents told me to bring a plus one..maybe you could be my plus one?" I smiled awkwardly which made Kyo smile too, "I'd love to, I hope your parents like me" Kyo said laughing awkwardly. "Yeah me too, I guess it's rare to for kids in packs to meet" I looked out the window and saw that it was already nighttime..
Time flies by when you're having fun.
