Hello There!! Thank you for taking the time to read this fic. I hope you enjoy it!

It was a quiet morning near Dawn Winery, the soft and calm melodies coming from the lyre of a bard could've been heard from a mile away. As the night's comforting darkness had left, the sunrise was just right around the corner.

"What a beautiful sight," Venti thought to himself. "I wonder if Xiao will ever get to see something as colorful as this."

Meanwhile, at Liyue, the moon still reigned king, while the sea of lanterns graced the waters.
"It's so marvelous, it reminds me of Venti. . . " Xiao said.

The two had been in different places, yet they still longed to be with each other. It was a truly sad moment indeed, for the two. Even then, they weren't going to give up there. Both had mutual feelings. They were bound to meet soon.

In the afternoon

"Hmm, It seems I have nothing to do today! Hehe~ Seems like I'll ask Xiao if he'd like to go eat somewhere!" Venti happily thought to himself.

As Venti joyfully pranced along with the Mondstadt gates, he looked through his wallet. He'd been hoping for a moment like this, finally being able to reunite with his dear lover! But the devil had been eyeing Venti, waiting for a moment to ruin the dear Bard. At that very moment, Venti had no money! Oh dear– How was he going to find his beloved Xiao?

At that very same time, Xiao had been eyeing a little date with Venti. He didn't mind money– he was even fine with a simple picnic near Starfall valley, As long as he was with his happy and cheerful Venti.

"I guess no one is in danger right now, I'll go to Mondstadt and ask Venti out," Xiao said.

As he was walking towards Mondstadt city, holding a gift he prepared for Venti, OUCH! A loud thump came as Xiao bumped into a smaller boy, somewhat the size of Venti.

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you there. What's your name–"

After that the boy went to pick up his books, they both gazed into each other's eyes. It was an awkward moment, they both wanted to look away, but they couldn't. They were both too beautiful.

After a long moment of staring at each other, Venti finally stood up– But no words were exchanged. Venti just gazed into his eyes as if staring into his soul, then he suddenly hugged him.

"Venti..." Xiao whispered.

Venti didn't answer. He was busy embracing his beloved, the one he missed for ages.
Finally, Venti took his arms off of Xiao and greeted him.

"Hello, Xiao! I missed you so much! It's been so long, there's so much I want to say to you? Are you free tonight? There's something I'd like to do with you," Venti said.

"I'm free tonight... There was something I wanted to do with you as well," Xiao murmured.

Venti interrupted him and spoke right away, "Lovely! Let's go to the windrose statue right away, hehe!"

As they were running across the fresh meadows of wind rise, Venti's smile grew bigger and bigger while they ran towards the sunrise.

"Venti looks so beautiful," Xiao thought to himself.

He couldn't help but grin a bit because of the ecstasy he felt inside.

"Xiao?! Are you smiling?" Venti cheerily shouted.

"Yes..." Xiao murmured.

As they kept prancing towards the sunset, they finally arrived at the statue. They couldn't help but have a moment to contemplate all the happiness they had today. All the mixed emotions, anxiety, ecstasy, everything they felt today. They glanced into each other's eyes, leaned closer to each other until their noses touched.

"Venti..." Xiao whispered.

"Xiao...." Venti spoke.

"It's too early..." Xiao spoke to himself."Don't you think the stars are quite lovely tonight?" Xiao asked. Venti said, "They're quite far, but they aren't unreachable."They're pretty, just like you."Then they hugged each other, so passionately, until Venti fainted in Xiao's arms.

He almost died, but why?
