Niall gulped when he saw his dad stare at him with his icy cold stare that made Niall shiver down to his bones. Its been a few days since he had arrived in Ireland and already, he couldn't wait until he was safely back in his bandmates comfort, even if they had been excluding them lately. Nothing can be worse that his dad glaring at him non stop whenever there's a family gathering, and because of him, there seems to be a lot of them these days. He doesn't get why his family needs to see him so much. He'll be there for a week, he doesn't need all this attention. He'd understand if its been a day but its already been 3 days and there's no sign of his family leaving him alone anytime soon. The only person who haven't been hovering over him like a fragile doll is his dad, and that's because he's too busy glaring at him every chance he gets.
Right now, the family's currently staring at the TV watching some gossip channel talk about Justin Bieber's recent arrest or something like that. Honestly, he doesn't really care. It's not like he doesn't like Justin or anything like that, he does, but all he wants to do is lie down in his bed and sleep with the blinds closed and the room locked, with no one interrupting him. Unfortunately, that can't be done with everyone around him and never leaving him alone. It seems like there's always someone with him at all times, even when he's sleeping. And honestly, that's creepy.
He looks around the room, yawning because Greg thought it was a good idea to wake him up at six o'clock in the morning with a blow horn then throw water at his face right after he finished yelling at him. After that, he couldn't fall back asleep. He's been trying to find some excuse to leave for his room for quite some time now. It's just hard when he's squished between his family members with absolutely no room to breathe.
Getting up, with a bit of a struggle, he was able to stretch and move around. Before he was able to do that though, he realized everyone was staring at him. Sighing, he looked around with a slight annoyance on his face. He wasn't new, he doesn't need this much attention on him. He glanced at his mom.
"What do you need? I'm just tired since you ladies have been dragging me everywhere that I couldn't get any goddamn sleep for the past three days and jet lag's been getting to me, ya know!" He snapped. He didn't mean to snap at them, its just that he's just tired, and everyone needs their sleep, right?
His mom looked shocked too, considering that her eyes were huge and the mouth was slightly open. But thank god that she hadn't told Niall off or he'll most likely be very embarrassed. She just nodded her head and Niall took that as the hint to head upstairs and actually get some well deserved sleep for once in the last three days.
Yawning, he gave out one final stretch with a long groan, one long enough to make his mom cringe, and started up the stairs to his room. Dragging his feet, he finally made it to his room. If it wasn't for the walls, Niall would've tripped at least ten times before actually reaching his room only 4 feet from the top of the staircase. He was just so tired. No less than a millisecond after Niall entered the room, he hopped right into the bed, quickly kicked off his jeans, and was out like a light as soon as his head hit the pillow. Soon enough, the room was filled with the irishman's quiet snores.
--------------------------------------
5 year old Niall peeked out of his bedroom door only to have Greg pull him back in again. Harshly too.
"Ow Greg, that hurts!" He punched his ten year old brother as hard as he could, as hard as a 5 year old anyways.
The punch hasn't seem to have affect Greg in anyway. He just glared at his brother. "Shhhh! Do you want them to hear us? We'll be in big trouble if they find out we're still up after 10." Even if the two boys had started arguing in their loudest voice right then, the adults still wouldn't be able to hear them. Not with all the yelling and the sound of something breaking once and a while coming from downstairs. Unfortunately for Greg and Niall, this wasn't anything usual. It happened daily, they were used to it.
