HAPPY ONE YEAR!

"ATE SAMARA!" isang sigaw ng batang lalaki ang bumulabog sa umaga namin. Addieson chuckled at my side while were heading downstairs.

"He's really Drake's son." mahinang sabi ko. Sumalubong naman sa amin ang mga anak ni Drake. We are living on the same subdivision and they planned on riding a same vehicle on our way to our children's school.

His two boys are part of the Junior Basketball Team while my daughter is a cheerleader. Samara is 8 and I have 4 years old daughter - Kaila and Addie is three months pregnant with our third child and I hope that's it's a boy. Aba, I also need a son. However, our daughter Kaila is showing her interest in Basketball.

"Tignan mo kuya oh, ang ganda ganda ganda ni Ate Samara. Tulo na laway mo." mapang-asar na sabi ni Axle sa Kuya Sean niya. Sinamaan naman nito ng tingin.

"Manahimik ka, Axle kung ayaw mong sabihin ko kay Mommy na may sinapak ka sa school noong isang araw." banta ng Kuya niya kaya natahimik ito.

"Where are your parents?" tanong ko.

"Nasa loob po ng van, pinapasundo po kayo saamin." Axle said. I nodded then went outside our house. Nagbilin ang asawa ko sa mga kasambahay namin bago kami pumasok sa loob ng van.

"On the way na daw sina Kelsey." Kyrie informed us. We talked a lot of things inside the van and most of them were about business while our kids are silently playing in their iPads.

Nakarating kami sa school at agad na dumiretso ang mga anak namin sa locker area nila para makapag-handa. Kami naman ay pumunta sa bleachers at umupo sa may pinakababa para mas mapanood namin ang mga anak. Few minutes later ay dumating na sila Kelsey buhat ang anak nitong lalaki. Binati nila kami bago sila umupo sa tabi namin.

"Milan can't come she's in Madrid and Storm's in Singapore. Babawi nalang daw sila sa mga pamangkin." sabi naman ni Kelsey.

"And Hope?" Addieson asked.

"Paparating na 'yon, bumili lang ng pagkain." she replied.

Addieson and I were married for almost ten years at sa sampung taon na iyon ay walang araw na hindi ako nalungkot. Walang araw na naramdaman kong nag-iisa ako. All those days, months and years we spent together were the happiest moments in my life.

In those years, we cry, we laugh, we fought but it was all normal for a married couple.

This is my dream upon meeting Addie - to build a big and happy family and to spend the rest of my life with her. She was my bestfriend, my partner-in-crime, my happy pill, my other half. Without her by my side, I am lifeless.

My kids adds colors into our life. They are our life.

"Tita alam mo ba 'yan si Kuya Sean, pasimpleng naglalagay ng love notes sa locker ni Ate Sam." sumbong ni Axle habang kumakain kami sa isang restaurant. Nanalo ang team nila sa laro maya naman naisipan ni Drake na i-treat ang mga ito. However, Samara's cheering squad placed second in the competition.

"You're the one putting those cory love notes in my locker, Kuya Sean?" Samara said raising her eyebrows at Sean.

I saw how Sean frowned na tinawanan lang ni Drake. Well, I won't mind if Sean and my first born would end up together in the future basta lang siguraduhin ni Sean na hindi niya sasaktan ang anak namin.

"No." tanggi ni Sean.

"Anong no-"

"You're the one putting it there Axle, ikaw yata ang may crush kay Samara e." Sean said cutting off her brother. Mas lalong natawa naman sina Hope dahil doon.

"Axle." his mother said na nagpatigil kay Axle sa pagkain.

"S-Sorry, ginagawa ko lang naman 'yon para magpansinan sina Kuya at Ate Sam. Ang boring ng lovelife nila Mommy, walang usad." Axle said.

"Mana pala sa 'yo panganay mo eh." pang-aasar pa ni Hope kay Drake.

Napuno ng tawanan at kwentuhan ang table namin. Si Axle ang may pinakamaraming kwento na pati ang pag-utot ng katabi niya sa klase ay kinu-kwento niya. I looked at Addie and she was happy talking with her friends, I held her hand and she looked at me with brows furrowed.

"May problema ba?" mahina niyang sabi sa akin. Umiling naman ako.

"I just want to hold your hand." I said.

She just smiled at me then caressed my hand using her thumb. Bumaling siya sa mga kaibigan niya at nakipag-kwentuhan habang hawak ang aking kamay.

Who would've thought that a player like me can deeply fall inlove to a woman? All I do in my life back then was to have women around me, to go to clubs and party. Hindi ako kailanman nagseryoso sa isang relasyon.

I chuckled on my thought.

"Daddy umalis si mommy." sabi ni Kai ng makababa ako ng hagdan. Napakunot ang noo ko dahil hindi nagpaalam si Addieson sa akin na aalis siya ngayong araw.

"Where did she go?" I gently asked her then kneel infront of her.

"I don't know po." aniya sa maliit na boses at umiling, "Ate Sam is making breakfast po, tara po sa kitchen." sabi ng anak ko at hinila ang kamay ko patungo sa kitchen.

Naabutan ko naman si Sam kasama ang kanyang nanny na mag-toast ng bread. "Good morning, dad!" masayang bati niya sa akin ng makita akong pumasok sa kusina.

"Daddy, wait lang ha, ime-make kita ng coffee." sabi niya at bumaba sa upuan kung saan siya nakapatong at dali-daling kumuha ng baso para ipagtimpla ako ng kape.

Well, my daughter knows well how to make my coffee because her mother taught her. Si Sam pa ang nagpumilit na turuan ng mommy niya kung paano gumamit ng coffee maker para siya na lang daw ang gagawa ng coffee ko tuwing umaga.

While Kai on my side, she is patiently waiting and watching her nanny to toast a bread. Nagpagawa pa ito ng hot chocolate sa ate niya.

"Here's your breakfast!" Sam exclaimed then put a plate infront of us with bacon and toasted bread. "Coffee for dad and hot choco for my baby sister."

I smiled at what I'm witnessing. My kids were so responsible and happy. I hope they'll be like that forever.

My wife and my kids, they deserve all the good things in the world and I will do everything to give them that. I will continue to be a good husband to Addieson and a good father to my kids until my last breath.

They are my precious gems that'll I'll keep and cherish forever.
