Cinder woke with a startling stroke from her housefolk, she hissed at the large paw and scrambled out of the grasp, twisting her body to claw the furless paw. The housefolk screeched in pain, pawing at the blood caused by Cinder, the housefolk ran to cry to its mother. "Stupid housefolks... ill speak to Freya." She stretched her body and squeezed out the cat door, "Freya!" She yowled for her friend as her paws touched the rough surface of the front garden. She saw a small, grey shape slither out of a cat door and ran over to her, "Cinder! Hows the housefolk?" Freya meowed while sitting down to clean her pelt, "Horrible! They keep waking me up and grabbing me like a naughty kit!" She hissed with annoyance. If she could run away she would. "Thats...not good. Have you heard that local cats have spotted wild cats from clans in the forest! Its horrible!" She meowed while running her wet paw over her ear. Her eyes lit up, wild cats? Thats awesome! They could help her to escape from housefolk!
"Cinder. I know what your thinking! Your not running off into that forest are you?" She asked seriously staring into her soul."Youll loose weight and- and youll have to hunt for your own food!" She wailed dramatically. "Its not THAT bad." Cinder stared into the forest. Maybe it was bad. Maybe there were bears and foxes ten times her size! The thought of giant predators made her shiver. "You better not-" Freya's housefolk yowled her name, "I better go now. If i see you in that forest ill-!" The housefolk yelled more aggressively now, Freya gave her a death stare before running off delicatey to her nest. Cinder took a deep breath, "Id better get some food into me before i go exploring.." she muttered under her breath. She scrambled into her nest and cried for food from her housefolk, this is why she wanted to leave! She had to beg for food, in the forest she could eat whenever she wanted! She watched the housefolk sigh before pouring some dry cat food into her plastic bowl, she walked to her food and choked it down. She checked the room to make sure it was empty, dont want a housefolk to see me.. she wandered off towards the cat door to find it locked shut. "Mousebrain..!" She hissed and looked at the glass of a housefolk device. She saw it was cracked open and leaped on the side before crawling out the gap. Cinder landed on all paws and ran into the green nothingness. She sniffed the grass before setting a clean pad onto it, her head raised with shock and life spread into her. She leaped onto the grass and rolled playfully like a kit who had to much milk. "Hey!" She heard a voice that made her jump, something pinned her to the floor, was it a fox? Was she going die? No! Just because she was a kittypet didnt mean she was weak. She opened her eyes and kicked the attacker off, the grey cat hissed before leaping back towards her. She yowled a battle cry before moving to the side and pinning her attacker before nipping its neck and stared fiercely into its eyes. "Not bad for a kittypet!" The unknown cat meowed, "You think i should be weak?" She asked with aggressiveness in her tone. "BeachPaw! What are you doing?" Another voice screeched through the trees, a brown tabby was souring through the trees with a few more cats. "SharpClaw! Thank StarClan your here! This kittypet invaded ThunderClan territory!" The grey cat meowed kicking Cinder off. "Hey do not act like im a peice of crowfood!" Cinder hissed, anger in her eyes. BeachPaw looked at Cinder with amusement, "Mhm, anyways i request we get RabbitStar to see this kittypet. And the fact that it fought one of ThunderClan's best apprentices... is quite concerning.." SharpClaw stared at BeachPaw with worry in his eyes. BeachPaw rolled her eyes. Cinder smiled proudly as a small, blonde tom nodded and ran into the trees. A few minutes later, the tom came back with a white coloured she behind him. "What is it SharpClaw?" The elegant she asked. "This kittypet set a few paws onto ThunderClan territory, BeachPaw trird to deal with it but got beaten by it." SharpClaw replied. "Dont call me an 'it' you mousebrain!" Cinder hissed. "Well.. whats your name kittypet?" RabbitStar smiled at Cinder, "Cinder." She quickly meowed. RabbitStar nodded, "You seem strong for ThunderClan. Would you like to join?" RabbitStar asked. What?! What? she really being invited to ThunderClan? "Of course you dont have to.. well let you have until tomorrow sunhigh to think about it, we want to see you here at tomorrow moonhigh." RabbitStar purred before leading the cats back towards the place she came from, BeachPaw stayed behind, "You're a lucky kittypet, normally she drives them out." She meowed quietly before following the rest. After she curled up in her small tower that the housefolks made her, Cinder closed her eyes, thinking about her new name, new rules and new food. The next dawn, Cinder awoke, meowing with excitement. Her housefolks seemed shocked with her attitude, she padded out into the rough surface outside. She crouched in plain sight, pretending to hunt in her new home. She was excited about saying yes to her new friends. As the sun shifted into the middle of the sky, she finished talking to Freya and waited patiently by the forest. She then saw the patrol of cats and her eyed lit up as she walked over to them, "greetings Cinder." RabbitStar purred kindly. "Hello RabbitStar and uh-... friends." She didnt sound so formal like the beautiful leader. She giggled, "Your answer?" She suddenly turned serious. "So your just going to let a kittypet join ThunderClan..?" Cinder heard BeachPaw's quiet whisper and gave her a stare. "Yes. I shall become a ThunderClan learner." Cinder ignored the childish apprentice. RabbitStar giggled, "follow us then." A selfish, sharp meow interrupted the moment. "Yes..." RabbitStar seemed like she wanted to say more but she was cut off by SharpClaw leading the patrol, RabbitStar slighty behind him. "SharpClaw isnt even deputy!" BeachPaw's quiet hiss broke her thoughts. "Really? He acts like he owns the whole forest!" Her surprised meow was louder than she wanted it to be, SharpClaw shot a look of threat into her. "Mousebrain! Keep it down!" BeachPaw whispered. "What was with you earlier saying i was a kittypet?" She quickly changed the subject, if she didnt change it sooner, well.. she wouldnt have a good relationship with SharpClaw, "oh sorry about that!" BeachPaw squeaked. "Shut up you two! Even ShadowClan can hear you!" A small grey tabby growled. "Sorry DustPaw!" BeachPaw giggled, "wait Paw-?" Cinder was surprised that BeachPaw was obeying a fellow apprentice! "Excuse us?" Cinder hissed lowly, "Shut up is what i said kittypet!" DustPaw spat back. Cinder stopped, she wasnt going to let this young, clearly inexperienced apprentice tell her off! That was a warriors, elders or leaders job! "Cinder.." BeachPaw urged for her to stop and just keep going. "Cinder." RabbitStar had stopped the patrol moments ago! This was so embarrassing! "S-sorry RabbitStar.." after that there was just silence for the whole trip. "Hey cinder" A small whisper came from the side, a blonde beautiful she sniled at you. "Im BeautyCloud." The Beautiful she purred. "You know my name?" Cinder asked, BeautyCloud nodded. Cinder didnt know why but she loved BeautyCloud already. "Were you just recently been made a warrior?" Cinder asked stupidly. The cat blushed, "Yes half a moon from now." She smiled, "any mates?" Cinder carried on. What was she thinking! BeautyCloud wont like her! She has kittypet blood while BeautyCloud had clan blood. "Uh- no." She smiled. Cinder almost fell into a ditch if BeautyClouddidnt put her tail infront of her. "Eh-" she saw the giant patch of brambles covering a home of cats. RabbitStar led the patrol into the entrance and into the clearing. "Woah.." she sat beside BeautyCloud as RabbitStar climbed a rock. Her tail intwined with BeautyCloud's by accident, she didnt seem to mind though. "All cats of ThunderClan!" RabbitStar yowled as many cats crawled out brambles. "We shall welcome our new apprentice." She pointed her blue eyes towards Cinder. "A kittypet? You must be joking!" A voice laughed. "Silence!" RabbitStar growled at the voice's owner. The cat whined. "Cinder. Please walk forward." RabbitStar gazed down. Cinder walked forwards. Would she keep her name? "As the stars gaze upon Thunderclan.. they wish our future great and strong!" Cats yowls of approval died down. "Now i shall let you join our clan along with your forever name." She looked down at her new apprentice, "Cinder from now on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be LovePaw." RabbitStar announced, "with FireStorm as your mentor." She purred as an orange tabby tom walked over to LovePaw and rested his muzzle on her. She licked his shoudler as he sat beside her. "Let your new Prophecy begin!" RabbitStar yowled.
