Warriors: The New Prophecy

Chapter 2 : "We forget about eachother."

As the sun spread across the clearing, LovePaw awoke, a gentle voice echoed in her ears, " Let your prophecy begin!" What did RabbitStar mean by that? She didnt really care. She scrambled out the apprentice den, her eyes adjusted to the light and she froze as she saw how many cats there were. BeautyCloud and FireStorm were chatting, BeautyCloud seemed upset? FireStorm looked angry and was hissing at her, LovePaw padded over to them. "Morning.." LovePaw murmmed. BeautyCloud blushed, "Morning LovePaw!" She smiled. "Morning, FireStorm looked at LovePaw, "we better start with training and learning about rules in the forest. BeautyCloud why dont you take BluePaw woth you and we can train our apprentices together?" He knew something he wasnt meant to, LovePaw could sense something but couldnt understand it. BeautyCloud nodded and walked to the apprentice den. "We'll meet them at the Sandy Hollow." FireStorm guessed and squeezed himself out of camp, LovePaw slowly following begind. As they reached the Sandy Hollow, BeautyCloud and BluePaw arrived shortly after. BluePaw looked at LovePaw with surprise in his eyes. "You look better than i thought." BluePaw smiled childishly. "Lets just learn!" LovePaw snorted in disgust. As the apprentices faced eachother, "Since your a lower learner ill teach-" he was cut off by LovePaw taking a blow at his paws and dodging his attack, she twisted in the air and pinned him down, snarling. "I dont need help from an over-sized kit!" LovePaw growled, slowly getting off of him. "That was a good move." FireStorm meowed happily, "BluePaw would have never suspected an attack in the middle of a boast." LovePaw looked at BeautyCloud, she was to focused on yelling at her apprentice for being to boastful and not paying attention. "It wasnt fair BeautyCloud! I was about to teach her a few moves! I didnt know she would hit me!" BluePaw complained like a kit, it was actually quite funny. "Stop wailing! You could wake the whole forest if you go on like that." BeautyCloud hissed back. LovePaw smiled, her mentor hit a blow on her paws, twisting in the air. "Copycat!" LovePaw yelled as she waited for her mentor to land and hit him at the paws, he dodged and unbalanced her. She was pinned. She kicked FireStorm off and bit his neck, twisting in the air to bring pain in the victims neck and face. She dropped him and sat down, licking her paw and grasping i over her ears. "Ow-! That was awesome LovePaw!" FireStorm winced as he struggled to stand. "Can we swap apprentices?" BeautyCloud joked making FireStorm, herself and LovePaw laugh. "Sure lets try!" BluePaw growled pushing LovePaw towards BeautyCloud and replacing her spot. She sat up straight, "Dont be rude BluePaw. Just because BeautyCloud made a joke doesnt mean that shes evil." FireStorm hissed. "It actually seems like a good idea!" BeautyCloud smiled. After you and FireStorm was seperated, it was just LovePaw and BeautyCloud. "Hey.. i know it was your first night here in thunderclan... but i think ive developed feelings for you.." BeautyCloud whispers, "But we cant be mates..! Two she cats cant love eachother!" LovePaw sighed, she knew BeautyCloud was right, "But the truth hurts!" LovePaw hissed while turning away and running towards nowhere. LovePaw panted, she found herself at a small stream in the damp grass, "Hm?" She hummed while following it. She found a small mouse scuttling away fron her paws, acting like a kit, LovePaw leaped after it and chased it, all the bad memories left her as she laughed, the mouse wasnt laughing with her though. After finally killing her prey, she scented the air. It didnt smell like ThunderClan, instead ShadowClan. Hisses inturpted her thoughs, a shadowclan patrol had found her! "What are you doing here ThunderClan spy!" The deputy, RoseTail ordered. LovePaw stepped back, her paw landing in the stream making a small splash. "I didnt mean to! I was chasing a mouse and accidentally ended up here!" LovePaw blurted out, the deputy looked at her patrol before growling once more, "How do we know your telling the truth?" RoseTail unsheathed her claws and snarled, flaring her teeth. "Please! I swear i didnt mean to be here! Im only an apprentice!" LovePaw cried acting as if some ThunderClan patrol would jump out the bushes and be the heros to save her but it was quiet. A small apprentice, younger than her leaped at LovePaw, she dodged and pinned the apprentice to the ground. She regretted her actions as the whole patrol leaped towards her, yowls of battle screamed out in the trees as a ThunderClan patrol darted out and jumped at the Shadowclan warriors and apprentices. She noticed BeautyCloud among them, pinning a shadowclan warrior to the ground with a snarl. She couldnt help but feel a pang of jealousy, no. It was over she couldnt love another she! If i carry on.. ill be kicked out! She worried but yowled in shock as a warrior leaped for her. She jumped in the air, twisting her body and landing on the enemy. She snarled at the warrior and snapped at its leg. "Hello. FoxClaw." She greeted dramatically as if she were saying a famous quote. "Oh LoveKit!" The warrior smiled sarcastically, "remember when good old FoxClaw had to save you from the evil twolegs near ShadowClan?" She hissed, kicking the apprentice off and clinging on to her back. LivePaw hissed in fury while faling to the ground, pinned by FoxClaw. "The only job for you is a medicine cat! Theyre weak and only are used for healing!" FoxClaw snarled. Fury burned in LovePaws eyes, medicine cats arent weak and neither is she. She lashed a claw out at the boasting warrior and clung onto her neck while biting clumps of fur off her pelt. "Retreat!" RoseTail yowled and ran off woth her patrol. Her back was oozing with blood, the pain stung like a swarm of bees had stung her and left an infection. "Dont do that ever again!" Her mentor growled, his eyes covered in blood that probably didnt belong to him. FireStorm lashed his tail angrily. "Howd you even get into this place?" FireStorm asked while guiding the large patrol back towards the forest. " after her mouse-brained tantrum she ran into ShadowClan for a new friend." BluePaw mocked, the same red sticky liquid everyone had on his shoulder. "No actually mouse-brain. I ran off and chased a mouse into ShadowClan!" She hissed loudly just enough for everycat to hear. "Can i talk to LovePaw for a moment?" BeautyClouds voice startled her. "Yes we better see you at camp later though." FireStorm directed his patrol back to camp. "Why?" She asked, sitting down as if it was to be a long conversation. "Why what?" LovePaw blinked, searching the ground for something to distract her. "Why do we like eachother?" She began, "We have to talk about it sooner or later." Her silver pelt sparkled in the setting sun. "We forget about eachother." LovePaw simply said, "we talk about it when im a warrior." LovePaw stood and followed the direction the patrol went. She wanted BeautyCloud to call for her but she didnt, her life was going horrible, and its only the beginning.
