GENSHIN: Stardust Road

CH2 ACT4: HIDDEN BENEATH THE SURFACE

Everyone eventually descends into the cavern below. And it is way way bigger than expected, and there's even water dripping from the ceiling, indicating that it's under the sea. 

Jean: "this is amazing!" 

Qing: "I know right?! I never knew this place even existed"

Kit: "huh. These caverns run deep below water" 

Ricky: "we should proceed with caution. These could cave in any moment and we all drown" he said wearily 

Kit: "were nothing if not cautious" 

Poi: "yeah right"

Kit: "I am careful!" 

Aether: "hey guys. I see massive gates in the distance" he points to a pair of gates in the far distance with what appears to be highly detailed carvings of dragons on them, surrounded by rather ornate detailing. 

Paimon: "Those are massive!" Paimon said with clear shock 

Hei: "you said it. Even I never knew these gates existed" 

Qing: "Me too. Let's go over there! Come on people!" He runs to the twin gates

Lumine: "is the little guy always this energetic?" She giggles 

Hei: "yep"

They all head to the gates and they are...in a word. Gargantuan, up close that is

Lumine: "woah. What could be behind this big gate?!" 

Paimon: "let's find out!" 

Aether: "okay. Lumine. Push on three. One, two, three!" 

They push the gates with all their might and they open just enough for everyone to pass through. And what they find behind the gate is...well...a temple with two dragons hibernating within it. It's about dvalin's size but a little bigger. One white. One black

Qing: "Hey fellas!":D

ricky: "qing, don't alert them!" He said with his voice full off terror 

Qing: "aww, but this is the perfect chance for you get over your dracophobia!" 

Venti: "he has dracophobia??"

Kit: "ever since we first met, he's been horrified by dragons. I tell him it's irrational. But he doesn't listen. Maybe today is the fateful day he gets over his phobia" 

Ricky: "okay. Here goes nothing" he takes a deep breath and he stepped towards one of the massive creatures hesitantly, before placing his hand on its snout 

Kit: "see. Harmless. Like i said" he smiles at his best friend 

Ricky: "you're not so bad after all, are ya?" 

Then a voice booms and echoes in the cavern walls "who dares disturb our slumber!" 

Qing: "uh oh" 

Hei: "hey hey hey now, don't move. You'll essentially kill us all. And we do not want to have 'crushed by a dragon caused cave-in' on our obituaries" 

One voice then responded to hei "you. You seem...familiar, but I do not know why" the voice sounded feminine in nature, but it still echoed through the cavernous walls and felt like a sonic boom to the ears. And it seemily originates from the colossal dragon before them

Hei: "maybe you confused me with someone else" 

Black dragon: "perhaps. But what I do vividly remember is me tending to two hatchlings. The runts of my litter" 

Qing: "oh oh! What do they look like!?" He smiles

Black dragon : "one was plain white covered with the softest feathers. The other was black with feathers as well. They disappeared for decades on end. I miss them" 

Qing: "huh. Sounds like us" 

Hei: "yep. You don't think-"

Qing: "you betcha!" 

The twins turn into tiny feathered dragons. One white. One black

White dragon: "my little runts!" The white dragon said excitedly. She then rushed over and wrapped them in her giant wings "i missed you both. My little babies" she coos

Qing: giggles "we missed you too!" 

Black dragon: "Hey now blanc, Calm down. We only just reunited with the little ones. Don't be too hasty" 

White dragon: "come on noire! We haven't seen our little babies in forever. So forgive me if I seem clingy!" 

The two dragons bicker like an old married couple for minutes on end. They then poof into their human forms: two beautiful women with white and black hair and eyes respectively. 

Their bickering echoes in the cavernous scenery. 

Bottom line: they seem very immature for their age of about 2 millenia

Hei: "um. Moms! Where have you two been all our lives?!" 

Venti: "moms!? Do Gods have parents like mortals?" He said utterly dumbfounded 

Blanc: "yes sweetie, They can. Well, actually that was a lie. Only these two little gems have parents" pats qing and hei affectionately "that makes em unique amongst the other gods" 

Noire: "dearest hei. I apologize on our behalf for being absent from your lives. The truth is. We partook in the archon war whilst you kiddos fled. It took up all our energy and we fell into hibernation till now"

Hei: "oh...well i guess i can't be mad at you. You were fighting in a war after all" she sighs 

Noire: "how about after we get well acquainted with all your friends. I'll make you some grilled fish to cheer you up"

Hei: "ok mom, thanks"

Noire: "you're very welcome, sweetheart" she kisses her forehead 

Zhongli: "interesting. Say blanc, noire. You both look familiar" 

Blanc: "Maybe we, dearest Zhongli, used to hang out back in the day?" 

Zhongli: "if we did i certainly would have remembered"

Blanc: "It's because of that 'erosion' or whatever it's called. Screwed up your memory reeeeal good, didn't it?" 

Zhongli: "perhaps it did"

Venti: "we only know your two kids, miss and miss" he chuckles

Noire: "it's to be expected, Little barbatos. So no need to worry" 

Jean: "these events are certainly interesting to say the least" 

Eula: "indeed. Gods having parents, said parents hiding underground until this point, a nation of orphans. It's been...a Rollercoaster to say the least" 

Blanc: "anyways…" she hugs qing and hei tightly "i shall shower my little babies with hugs and kisses" she kisses their foreheads repeatedly 

Noire: "honey, Give the kids their space"

Qing: "It's ok mommy. I love this"

Hei: "same, i guess" 

Noire: "hehe. Ok sweeties" she joins the family group hug and smooches blanc 

Jean: "w-well. I guess we will be off soon. I feel its best to leave just you guys with the kids" she chuckles 

Blanc: "Okay, miss. We'll fly you lot to the surface." 

Qing: "then head east if you wanna continue your journey. There lies astralia...and its...wierd" 

Venti: "weird how?" 

Hei: "you'll see. Just head there to see for yourself" 

Noire then flies the others above the cavern and into town. 

Blanc: "just go in that direction" points west "and be sure to visit sweeties!" She says adoringly 

Lumine and aether: "we will!" The group say their 'see you soon's and head off to the nation of the stars.
