Jennie fumbled with the helm of her shirt as her parents scolded her for saying 'I love Jisoo' and 'I'm not going to marry him' words but she couldn't understand why it was bad.
"How do you know you 'love', Jisoo? Do you even know how love feels?" Ha-Joon asked calmly but frustration can be heard in his voice.
"Do you know what love feels?" Jennie shot back which did not help the situation she was in. "I-" Ha-Joon mumbled stumbling in his words.
He put his hands on his face and groaned. "Jennie-" He was cut off by his wife. "Ha-Joon, if she doesn't want to then she doesn't have to" Jennie's ear perked up hearing the sudden decision by her mother.
"Areum! I already agreed to-"
"That's your fau- Our fault for signing it without Jennie's agreement into this" Areum said standing up from the chair she was sitting in. She walked towards her husband and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Plus I think they make a great couple"
Ha-Joon sighed. "What happened between you two, you and Hanbin. I thought you were dating him" Areum face palmed hearing the words that came out of her husband's mouth.
"That is literally one of the most stupidest question I ever heard, Dad"
"Jennie, go home I'll talk to Dad" Areum said smiling kindly at her daughter. Jennie quickly left the room after that. She did not want to be in the presence of her father right now.
"What did I say? I just don't understand why this girl can't listen to me. They dated before whats the big deal?" Rambled Ha-joon very frustrated.
"Ha-Joon." Areum said sternly then pointed at the couch, he obediently walked to the couch and sat down. Areum stood in front of him with her arms crossed.
"What? What's with this attitude all of the sudden? You agreed with me, Areum."
Areum sighed then closed her eyes. "This sudden attitude is by the realization that we are the worst parents ever"
"Jennie is spoiled you know that, I blame that on me I gave her too much allowance"
"She's a brat because we never notice her"
Ha-Joon chuckled. "Look at Sehun, he's out here attending meetings, learning. Look at Jennie she's here doing nothing for her future. Marrying Hanbin will give her future"
"Ha-Joon... Hanbin drugged our daughter, almost... almost" Areum couldn't say the words. "I thought that was..." Ha-joon said stopping mid-way.
"No it's him, I don't know what came upon my mind agreeing to this. This is why Jane always judged our parenting style towards Jennie. She always talked about how talented she is but we just never notice"
Ha-Joon looked down at his fidgeting fingers. "We can't just... cancel this"
"But we can call off the marriage that's the best thing we can do right now" Areum said and Ha-Joon agreed.
"Let's talk to Kyong and Sun-Jung"

Yelling was heard in the office as the couple approached the room. They took Jennie into another room to discuss about it while Jisoo and her parents stayed in the office.
They opened the door and the loud yelling stopped all eyes were on them. "Hey... let's speak about this..." Ha-Joon managed to murmur out. Jisoo took that as her cue to leave. She marched right out of their making sure to give the adults glares.
This was the first time they ever seen Jisoo this mad. Before it would be little tantrums when she was little but never this.
"Yes?" Kyong said sighing while taking a seat in his office chair while his wife took a seat in front of him.
