"Thank you!" Sicheng thanked the ice-cream seller and took the ice cream from his hand, licking it, before walking away with his friends.

"There's a festive fair going to be held, not so far from here. Shall we go?" Ten asked them, pausing in front of a cat, crouching down to take out some cat food from his pocket which he always carries.

"Yeah, it will be great. It's been forever since we had gone to a fair." Kun agreed on the idea.

"I will ask from mom.." Sicheng muttered, seeing Ten feeding the cat, while another cat comes too.

"I have heard there will be rides too, with much cheaper tickets. It will be fun, we should really try it." Ten added, before standing up and straightening his shirt.

"Only if mom lets me go with you both. She's very sceptical." Sicheng sighed, as Ten put his arm on his shoulder.

"Cheer up, she will let you go." Sicheng nodded.

"Bye... I will inform you about the fair once I ask her!" Sicheng waved goodbye to his best friends before getting inside the house.

"WE ARE GOING TO THE FAIR!" His younger sister came running down the stairs after seeing him, hugging his knees.

Sicheng's hopes rose. If his mother is letting his siblings go, then she will also let Sicheng go. He beamed and picked up his sister, keeping her on his shoulder before walking towards the kitchen.

"Hey, mom I'm back!" He announced, putting his sister down on the ground. "What's there for lunch?"

"The usual." She didn't bother glancing at him and went to open the refrigerator.

"Are we going to fair?" He asked, taking a chocolate from the refrigerator before his mother could close it shut.

"Yeah." She said, again not glancing at him and crouching down to feed his sister.

"Can I go along with Kun and Ten?" He asked, hoping for the best. His mother glanced at him for a moment with a blank expression, making him nervous.

"No. You're only going with your siblings and Jiayi." She sternly said, removing her gaze from him.

"Please! I really want to go with them!" He pleaded, pouting. His mother sighed, before nodding.

"They can accompany you, but don't go anywhere on your own in the fair and make sure to stay close to Jiayi." She declared.

Sicheng smiled and jumped, bending down to hug her before running upstairs to his room. Upon reaching, he closed the door almost immediately, flopped himself on his bed and called Kun.

"Hello?" Kun's voice responded from the other side.

"My mom allowed! But there's a condition."

"Great! What condition?"

"We will have to go with my siblings and Jiayi and stick close to them."

"Jiayi who?"

"My cousin, idiot."

"Oh right. Your family is way too big for me to remember all of it."

"Anyway, call Ten to inform him. Be ready by 7."

-

Yuta swung his bag on his shoulder, following Johnny out of the classroom through the crowded corridors.

"I got something for you," Johnny spoke, as an evil smile crept upon his face.

"Why don't I have a good feeling about whatever you got?" Yuta asked with a brow raised, as they climbed down the stairs.

"Trust me, you will be kissing me in happiness after seeing it." Johnny teased.

"Not even in your dreams." Yuta rolled his eyes, turning to the left to where the lockers were and stopped in front of his locker.

He pulled open the locker, to find two tickets. He took it out, examining it before his eyes widened.

"Tickets to China!?" He exclaimed, unable to hide his excitement.

"Well yeah. There is a fair going to be held soon there, and I thought, why not go there?" Johnny explained, opening his own locker and putting his books inside.

"I love you so fucking much-"

"You might not get to meet Sicheng."

There was a disappointment laid clearly on his face. It's true, his only purpose to visit China is to meet Sicheng.

He shrugged, at least there's a fair to make him feel better. He kept the tickets in his bag and closed his locker before both of them went out.

-

Admiring himself in the mirror, he grabbed a wristwatch from the table and put it on his wrist, before sliding his phone in his pocket. He was ready to go.

He ran downstairs, outside the house and saw his friends and jumped on them.

"Woah there." Ten said, getting Sicheng off him.

"Let's go," Jiayi called out for them, as they all got inside the car, as they drove to the fair. After half an hour, they all got down and followed Jiayi inside the fair.

After going inside, to their greatest disappointment, they saw there were no rides.

"Fairs without rides should be illegal at this point." Ten muttered, stopping in front of a food stall. Having nothing else to do, they helped themselves with some fast food and snacks before proceeding on towards an ice cream parlour.

Jiayi got them all an ice cream, as they were enjoying it, something caught Sicheng's eye, and he was about to nudge Kun and Ten, but Jiayi came in front of them, "We will leave now." She said and took them to the car.

Sicheng mentally cursed her and got inside, along with the rest, the car started and they were on their way back to their house.

"I saw him," Sicheng whispered to his friends, taking the advantage of the fact that he was sitting between them.

"Yuta?" Kun asked in disbelief.

"Yes, he was with Johnny."

"But how? Johnny told me nothing!" Ten asked in confusion.

"I don't know. Yuta also told me nothing." But Sicheng was already smiling like an idiot. He was longing for so long to be able to see him, and he finally did today.

"I was about to tell you both, but Jiayi came." He retorted, peeking around to make sure no one is hearing them, as Kun chuckled.
