Sam- Wait a min! You both are kissing that means you both are together again!

Sameer said looking at them with shocked expression.

Manik and Nandini both looked at eachother and again turing toward them nodded with a smile.

Kriya- Oh my my! Congratulations!

Kriya said excitingly hugging Nandini making her groan in pain.

Nandini- Kri thanks but I can't breath....

Kriya- Oh... Sorry over excitement hogayi!

Kriya said with an apologetic look.

Nandini- It's okay!

Kri- Vaise I missed you a lot...

Nandini- Me as well....

Sam- What about me?? I am also here.

Nandini- Ya ya u as well!

Nandini said with a whatever face making kriya laugh while Sameer makes a face.

Manik fake coughed to gain their attentions.

They turned toward him and raised their eyebrows.

Manik- Umm I have a question?

Kriya- I know your question. You want to know how two sworn enemies became besties?

She said pointing fingers toward her and Nandini, while Manik nodded meekly.

So kriya started him the whole college scenario.

Kriya- And after we became good friends. And on our graduation day Sameer proposed me which I gladly accepted and then after our college ended Diya decided to stay there only while I thought to return India with Nandini and Sameer but 6 months ago we had to go back for some Visa problems and we returned 2 days ago.

Manik- So that means you both are dating?

Sam- No, we are not.

Manik- Did you both broke up?

Kriya- Yup!

Kriya said and looked at Manik who was shocked seeing their casual attitude after breakup.

Manik- Why?

Nandini was trying to stop her laugh.

Kriya- Because we got married.

And the 3 burst into laughing.

Manik- What!

Manik shaked his head in disbelief.

Manik- Y'all are just mad. Anyways congrats.

He said hugging them.

Sam- Oh I forgot to tell you Nandini, we tried to inform your family but they didn't pick up the call. So now that you regained consciousness please inform them.

Nandini- Thank god they didn't know or else they would have just run till here.
*Turning toward them* Don't worry I will call and inform them.

Sam- Ok now you take rest, there are few tests left and then tomorrow you can leave the hospital.

Nandini nodded and they both left. Now only Manik was there looking at her.

Nandini- What?

Manik- What?

Nandini- Why are you looking at me like that?

Manik- Just can't believe it's real that you are here with me together truly.

After taking a pause.

Manik- I left you years ago and for that you had to suffer a lot but still you didn't hate me. And then The moment when I saw you there in blood I forgot to breathe. It was like I was dying again. I was feeling helpless and more of worthless for not being able to protect you.

Manik said caressing her hair as his eyes were filling with tears.

Nandini- Manik! Look at me!

But Manik still didn't look at her eyes. So she cupped his face and make him look at her.

Nandini- You know when you vanished suddenly years ago, I was broken angry sad and what not but still I couldn't hate you. You know why, because I believed that no matter what I knew you love me. Words can lie but not those pretty brown eyes. It was that I was angry that why you couldn't just give a proper clouser to our relationship if you wanted to leave.

And now that we are together, nothing can happen to me. I know you will not let any harm touch me.

Manik smiled and hugged her softly. After breaking the hug he kissed her forehead leaving his lips there for a long time.

Manik- This time I will protect my loved one, my love and us no matter what happens.
