What made her this way, I don't know. When the accident occurred, I have yet to find out. Isabella Rose, florid cheeks, white hair, grayish blue eyes with white specks that looked like stars, and a smile so bright it shamed the sun. Our eyes met, and for a brief second, i was entangled in cosmic chaos. She looked away, and the chaos dissipated. Dysphoria or euphoria, what was it? Was I thankful or enraged that God put such an infernally beautiful creature on this earth?

After class, on my way out of the room, our eyes met yet again, and chaos ensued. She nearly blinded me with a radiant smile. She turned to walk away, but I called out to her. "Hey! Isabella!" She turned and looked at me while one of the final persons of the flock of students that were exiting the classroom bumped her shoulder. She stood there like an angel amass irrelevant beings. "Yes?" Her heavenly voice teased my head. "Uh," I hesitated, "what class do you have next?" I asked blankly. "Latin, but I'm ditching. Wanna come? I'm going out by the lakefront." Oh, um... I have a, uh, civics test this period, and uh..." The bell rang. "Oh," she said with a hint of what I perceived to be disappointment. "Good luck, then." "Thanks," I replied awkwardly.

I turned around, as did she, and walked briskly down the hall, listening to her footsteps fade and a door close. I stopped and contemplated her offer once more. I ran back the way she went. I caught her just as she was pulling out. "Change your mind?" She asked as she rolled down the window. I nodded. She said to get in, but her eyes commanded it. I complied more than willingly.

We drove a few blocks in silence, which she broke with, "Jaime Briar. Initial thoughts : intellectual, awkward, shy, has a huge crush on me, has never had a girlfriend, thinks way more than speaks, and reads too many Stephen King novels. Was that accurate?" It was extremely accurate. "Frighteningly," I replied. I was embarrassed that she read me within ten minutes. Or did she excogitate before our first actual conversation? "Good," she said. I stared at her, unable to look away. She mesmerized me to the point of paralyzation. "What?" She asked with a giggle as she fixed her hair and looked at me. "N-nothing," I said, jerking my eyes away from her glory down to my torn up shoes which only made me more embarrassed. I tried not to display my discomfiture, but obviously in vain because she turned to me and asked, "are you okay? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to embarrass you." I blushed even more. "I'm okay," I said, "it's just that, I've never ditched school before and it makes me anxious." She looked at me like I was a child, "aw! Don't worry, it isn't that bad."

We pulled up about ten feet from the lake and got out. We walked toward the water and she looked at me. "So, you like me?" I blushed, probably very visibly, but I didn't answer. She smiled at my awkwardness. "Can I tell you a secret?" She asked. I nodded and uttered a quiet 'yes.' She leaned in and whispered, "I like you too," before taking my face in her hands and kissing me. She surprised me, but I went with it. I let her guide me; I closed my eyes like her. The flowery smell of her hair filled me and was destined to haunt my dreams. Her soft lips against mine I will never forget, nor the way she tasted and felt. I felt her tongue press against my lips and I let her in. I let her tongue explore my mouth, and then I explored hers. Our lips finally parted, but her gorgeous eyes remained inches away. She was probably redder than I was. We both sat there in silence for a good half an hour.

"Isabella," I hesitated, "I, um, That was my first kiss."
"Kisses," she corrected me with a giggle. "Wait, really? You had never kissed anyone before?"
"Nope."
"Wow. Well atleast you don't have anyone to compare me to."
We laughed awkwardly and looked at each other.
"Has anyone ever told you have pretty your eyes are?" I asked.
"Not to kill the moment you were trying to create, but yes."
"Well, It's a bit hard to kill a moment after you ate my face."
"Oh really? Because you just did with that statement." she laughed.

We sat together admiring the lake and feeling the cold air bombard us until sunset, holding hands. There were not many words said, but there was so much passion between us, I knew she could feel it. "I'm cold," she said,"is it okay if we cuddle?" I've never cuddled with a girl before, but I agreed. I let her scoot closer to me and put her arms around me; I put mine around her, and she put her head on my chest. She was so warm. She filled me with not only physical heat, but also warmth in my chest, happiness. We walked back to the car about an hour after sunset, and she drove me home. She said she'd drive me to school tomorrow since I left my bike there. She walked me to my door and kissed my cheek before saying goodbye. I waited for her to drive away before opening the door.
