Chapter 5

As I got home I had just a normal night and no drama it's a miracle. "Hey dad can I ask you something? I asked. "Sure what do you want to ask me". Wondered dad. "How did you say hi to mom when you first met and did you like her"? I asked. "Well when I first saw her I did like her and I was nervous to say hi but what I did was I said I can do this and I walked up to her and said hi and told her my name". Said dad. As I thanked my dad and we had a father son hug I went to bed. The next mourning I had a normal mourning without any drama and I got on the bus and sat next to Jayden while Lilly is looking at me with that surprised look she had yesterday. As we got off the bus and went to the lunch room Jayden will not stop bugging me about Gina and this whole crush thing. "Hey dude there she is just say hi". Said Jayden. "Get off my back"! I shouted annoyed. As the bell rang and thank goodness it is Friday and I can go out and do some stuff with my friends. I was rushing to my class because I was and out of no where I bumped into somebody and both of our books fell to the ground. "I am so sorry". Gina said. "No I'm sorry". I said. As we both picked up each others books we looked up and discovered that I was picking up Gina's books and Gina was picking up my books. As we both gave each other our books back we just kept staring at each other. "H...hi. I stuttered. Gina said nothing she was frozen as a statue. "Kids you are late for class"! Shouted Mrs.Kelsh. Me and Gina both freaked out and we ran to class with the right books and not each others. At lunch Mrs.Kelsh scolded us for being late but she let us off with a warning and as we made our way to our tables I saw Gina talking to Hudson Fillmore the quarter back on the football team,the most popular kid in the school,and the guy who gets any girl he wants. "Hey my name is Hudson and what is your name". Hudson said in a flirty tone. "My name is Gina". Said Gina. "Hey you are quite the beautiful girl how bout you and me go out for lunch this Saturday"? Asked Hudson in a flirty manner. "No thanks I'm good". Said Gina turning down his date offer. "No girl in this school has ever turned me down I am the most popular kid in school and you say no how dare you". Said Hudson angry. "Now look you seem like a nice guy but. Gina tried to finish her sentence but Hudson stopped her. "Oh no you may be famous but you will never be as popular and rich as me". Said Hudson in a stuck up manner. Gina would have had the final word but she decided to walk away and say nothing else to him.
