Chapter five: An old friend

Kenji's pov:

Kazuno stayed with her family and she got to see just how much they missed her dispute her uncertainty,she got comfortable fast. My family and I left her to get a chance to catch up with her family and heal some wounds from earlier. But in case Tobi was right we went ahead and called in a few pro hero's to watch over their home overnight.

As for me, my father bakugou was suggested to see an old friend after talking to uncle midoriya for awhile and mentioned a younger female they both knew since their high school years. So we drove to go see her and her family. The Aizawa household..

"I'm not sure if I could be of any help here uncle suki.., your son seems healthy just the way he is,but with the information you gave me it seems like physical appearance alone isn't the problem."

The lady had me sit in her kitchen area as she examined me throughly.

"Come on kid,you've got to be able to do something!,my son can't even talk anymore because of those damn bastards!"

My father screamed slightly as the lady just sighed.

"My quirk reverses the person back to the original state,before the injury occurred,which could mean erasing his whole quirk and physical abilities built up till now..,so yes I could heal him but I still am unable to control or pinpoint my quirk to do only that task. And I know you would hate it more if I accidentally lost control or couldn't stop it and your son returns to being just a baby or even back to nothing but cells.."

My eyes widen as I marvel slightly at her quirk. Was she really able to just...*POOF* whoops my bad you're nonexistent now.

"That's okay Eri baby,we understand what you're trying to tell us,we just thought we would try to see if you could do anything..,thanks anyways love."

Papa kirishima says as he smiles softly and puts a hand on Eri's cheek. Eri nods as she smiles sadly.

"I'm sorry guys,but maybe you can search for someone who could actually be of some help. With the outbursts you guys described that kenji sometimes has,it could be a use to seek out a much older ,more trained pro hero."

We all nod and give our regards to Eri and her family as we head back to the car. To be honest I think my new look isn't to bad but there's always a fear residing inside me that one day I might hurt the ones I care for when I get to careless about it all. There's always a chance I might be having too much fun one day and BAM, just like that the bracelet breaks and all hell spirals out of control. Who knows what will have to happen after that. The beast inside of me can't be controlled and I'll have to make the decision to put me down in order to protect everyone.

I hate to admit it but that's truly why I have to make sure I always have my guard up and keep a distance. Even with the few friends I have now I need to make sure that I keep away. No matter how hard it'll be.

School was out today due to pro hero's being needed for a mission outside of town so I spent the rest of the day at home reading about the nomus that the LOV keep releasing into town. It might sound crazy but I think that's what the LOV was trying to turn me into. They aren't just monsters,they used to be people too,just like me...why am I doing this? Why would they do this to me? Was it because of my dads? Why?...

"Kenji,baby?.."

I sit up to see my papa kirishima.

"Yeah papa? Is there something wrong?"

Papa shakes his head as he walks over and sits next to me on the bed.

"No,no. I just wanted to check up on you..,I know Eri not being able to do anything was kind of a bummer.."

I chuckle slightly as I shake my head.

"What?,no way,it's totally okay papa,I know that there's always a chance that I'll be like this for the rest of my life maybe,but I'm more than okay with that,okay?"

Papa nods as he hugs me and kisses the top of my head.

"I know baby,I just don't want you to isolate yourself because if that,you know? Me and your father both,and to be honest with you he's in his office right now still researching for you so don't lose hope just yet,okay?"

I hummed as I pull away from the hug.

"No worries ,I won't."

Papa nods as he pats my leg and walks out of my room smiling. Moments like these help me to keep going.

*groans*

"Ack!"

I fall off the bed as my breathing started to feel as of my body was on fire. Damnit...

It's happening again.....
