Glowing Mushrooms

Green- do not touch or go near, it can go from feeling sick/nauseous to if you touch it, it will start slowly burning your body to dust and you feel everything till you die

Blue- isn't safe to touch or go near when at specific times of the day, it puffs out blue smoke with green particles. It will mutate you, but any other times it is safe. It can fully make monsters that can function unlike the others

Pink- safe to touch but not safe to eat, it's very poisonous and will kill you after feeling immense pain and difficulty breathing

Purple- a darker shade will make you forget memories, lighter shade will make you hallucinate memories and you'll feel as though they are real and actually happening till it's over. The middle shade could look similar to either of the two, you'll either have an amazing memory that you would want to cherish or a horrible memory you would want to forget, but can't. ((Ex. Either a memory of reuniting with your dog or one of how you accidentally killed ur gf))

Yellow- one of the smallest mushrooms, they're very harmless but do work somewhat like poison ivy, but it can be cooked and eaten to heal sickness and wounds faster, it may sting a bit while eating

Red- they don't do anything except glow the brightest out of the bunch, you could use them as a really helpful light source. Just be careful, lots of monsters like to soul bond with the red ones. They won't be too happy if you end up taking one that is claimed, they have a different smell than the others ((cinnamon are what others smell like but more of a metallic blood-like smell from claimed ones))

Orange- orange mushrooms don't glow, the leaves of its tree glow instead. The tree changes colors matters on the time of day it is as it can't be told otherwise, but the color changes can make you get confused and lost, as different areas have different colored trees. They're very healthy, but taste horrid

Brown- they can kill you, but they taste like heaven. Do you want to risk your life to have your last, best flavor?

Black- it unhinges your jaw, which of course is very painful and you can't help but turn into your new urges to eat everything like some monster till your stomach can't take anymore. But hey, at least they'll be beige colored mushrooms growing out which are only edible by monsters

Beige- These mushrooms grow on corpses, usually after a mushroom-related death. If you eat it, you'll turn into a mutated monster, following your urges to eat anything that moves

Grey- grey mushrooms look drooped, and have a small glow to it. The area around the mushroom has turned into different shades of grey as well. When eating it, it wouldnt do anything to you, at least not physically. It will make you go into extreme sadness. Everything you ever think of will be negative, you'll lose yourself, not knowing who you are or what the point of anything is anymore

White- they have no glow as they look pure white, like you're looking into a small white room filled with nothing. It's like it's never ending. The second you eat it, you'll immediately fall to the floor and never wake up. You are forever conscious as vines and beige mushrooms grow on and around your still body. You yourself are forever trapped in a never ending white void, never to see anything or anybody else ever again.

Monsters

Inklings

-They are half immortal, what i mean is they can't die of old age nor any type of poisoning
-Their tongues are long goopy ink, can't be more than 3 colors (only the first ever inkling has more)
-Their hair is natural no matter what color/s it is
-They always have more then 2 eyes, there is no maximum
-They always have patterns on their entire body no matter what color it is
-A gift is always counted as a peace offering
-inklings don't actually have a gender, unless they feel like appearing as one.
-they have wings unless it got ripped off when they were a kid (it is seen as bad luck to some)
-most wings are goopy and distorted
-they reproduce asexually, 1 or more have to cut off a peace of their tongue and place it on the red mushrooms and there will be a new child
-the inklings with goopy wings can't fly, the ones who can, can only fly for a couple minutes before getting tired. Ones with eyes on their wings won't fly for obvious reasons
-have really sharp claws , white/black and only the tips can be colorful, can have only one hand or more be a claw
-have magic and can hide scars
-all eyes can see but only two on the face can have pupils, every eye on wings have pupils
-wings can't heal/regenerate even with magic unless they want something distorted to happen with it
-they have horns that if cut/taken off will either be bigger or change shape and be different than the other one
-not every inkling has a tail but if they do then it will have only one eye on it
-have pointy ears
-will always have a pattern under their 2 main eyes or something coming out from under/bottom
-many are introverted but some want to try and disguise as humans and find other humans to interact with
-You can "breed" your inkling with others, the kid will only have traits of the parents but mixed up

[Spirits]

CREATION

These vengeful beings will be created whenever someone in the forest dies by the hands of another. Not involving mushroom or monster-related causes of death.

DESCRIPTION

They have long ears and completely white eyes. Their body is in the state it was at the time of death, except for any mushroom-related changes.

CHARACTERISTIC

Spirits will haunt their killers in any mushroom-caused hallucinations. In these, they can injure or kill the person.

GHOULS

Ghouls are see through but are visible, they can't interact with the real world but you can see and speak with them. They can't talk about who or what killed them with the living or they'll disappear for an entire 24 hours

They are mostly seen around the lakes but are mistaken as steam at first, they can choose to haunt you if they wish but it also means they'll have to always stick around that person all the time no matter what till death

When a Ghoul starts to haunt someone, only that person being haunted will see them
