just any typical Tuesday. I went to football practice, Jade went to cheer. everything was great. we decided that we would only plot revenge on Sundays, don't ask why.

school went by very quickly. well, the first half of classes. now we're at lunch. my schedule is Study Hall, Art, now instead of Gym, I have Practice, Lunch, History, then Physics.

Jade and I met up at lunch.

"aye, QB," Marc, the running back on the team called, "come sit with us."

I walked up and I bought Jade.

"hey guys" I said.

"and the king has returned," the wide receiver, Isaac said. that's my nick name, the king, ever since I showed him off that day in tryouts.

"eww, what is that doing here? and why is she in my seat?" Britney says as she walks to our table.

"they're cool, they're on the teams, and why can't you just sit in a different seat?" Chris, captain of the football team said.

"ugh, you're so lucky I feel like being nice today.." she said as she sat at the end of the table with the cheerleaders. since there's a lot of us, we had to join three tables for all of us.

"so," Britney started, trying to get close to the team, "you know its girls ask guys to the dance and I was wondering if Chris wanted to go with me?" she said batting her fake eyelashes at him. she spoke loudly so now the whole cafeteria watched us.

I smirked. step 6, complete.

"sorry," he said, "someone already asked me, and even if they hadn't, I would've said no."

oooh, burn

"well, what about you, Isaac?"

"sorry, but I have the same dilemma as Chris." he said.

"ugh!" she yelled, then ran away, on the verge of crying, her minions running behind her.

"so.. Chris, what colors are we wearing?" I asked him.

"whatever you want, King" he replied. man, I don't think that'll ever get old.

"so, I was thinking about yellow, Isaac," Jade told him.

"fine by me" he said.

2 days until the dance.

Jade and I are going to go dress shopping, yes, 2 days BEFORE.

I know you're probably wondering, aren't you rich, you have all the dresses in the world.

well, wrong sir. I own no dresses, except for the one I just bought. I'm not telling you, just know that it's ... jade got yellow, now, I'm on our way to Chris' house to give his mom the color of my dress.

ding dong

"hi you must be Dylan "The King" Taylor. I'm Mrs. James." a nice, short blonde lady said to me.

Dylan James. Chris Taylor.

aha. funny. no? its not? whatever.

"Chris! get down here!" she said, wow, what happened to the lady I just met?

"coming! hey Dyl, what's up?" he said, walking down the stairs.

"hey!" I said, handing his mother the dress.

"is there anything you want to change before I take it to the store?" she asked me.

"actually, instead of having 2 sleeves, I want one." I told her.

"ok," then she ripped the sleeve and sewn it neatly so it looked like there was supposed to be one.

"thank you, I'll use this sample to match, so basically his tie, your corsage and his vest will be this color."

"cool," I said.

Jade and I were dressing up for the dance. I wore my dress and heels. Jade wore hers. I got all my essentials and so did she. We went to the mirror and took some selfies.

"Hey, so how did you ask him?" Jade asks me, referring to Chris.

"I got him a model of some random car, and the steering wheel was a button, then music started playing and I got some cheerleaders to do some cool tricks then I had a mega phone and asked him, it was during practice though."

"Cool. I just asked him and he said yes," she replied truthfully.

"Cool" I said then we went to the bathroom to do our hair and makeup.

"Wow, it's a good thing we practiced this, I think we bought the wrong shades." So we went back to the store and got new make up.

Today was going to be a long day.
