Squirrelstar let out an enraged yowl. "What do you mean you can't?" Lavenderhowl shrunk back. "I can't become deputy. I'm not going to be the next victim!" She responded. Squirrelstar growled. "We need you! If you step down, you might as well just join his side!"She growled. Lavenderhowl would shake her head. "Squirrelstar, I'm not joining him, nor siding with him. I just can't, please. There's so many other cats." Lavenderhowl said. "And that,,, is final." She'd say, and look at the ground. "Fine then, we'll have no deputy. We don't need deputies in the midst of a war, we only need cats to side with us." Squirrelstar took a sigh.

Hank watched the camp from afar, he looked bored. Yet, no deputy? Strange, but that'll make it better. Then, he'd slip away, through windclan territory. Maybe he could find some recruits. After a long time of walking, he'd almost given up, but, a familiar scent tickled his nose. He just couldn't quite remember it. With instinct, he'd get low, and creep towards the noise, ears and tail flat, claws unsheathed.

"You're lucky Hibiscus even cares about you. Otherwise, I'd have killed you!" A large she mewed, and a smaller, orange tom would cry. "You almost did!" Hank would take a peek at the cats, and his eyes suddenly lit up. He knew those two, and the she-cat was all too familiar.

Hank would make his presence known by tapping his claws on a rock, creating a noise. Both cats turned their attention to him. The she-cat seemed shocked, and the tom looked horrified. The small tom squirmed away, but the she caught his tail. "Oh no you don't." "Primrose." Hank announced, "Long time no see." The she, Primrose, would nod in response. "It has been quite long, brother." She said, before shooting a glare at the tom. "Raccoon'heart here, he's been a bit of a nuisance, but I've managed." She'd hold the small tom down, preventing him from running.

"Why keep him alive? Just kill him like you did his friend." Hank objected, and Primrose replied in a sneer. "Can't. Hibiscus would hate me if I did." She grumbled. Hank rolled his eyes. "Just leave her already, she obviously doesn't love you enough." Primrose would look away. "I know, but I'm not going to let her go so easily." She'd grit her teeth. Raccoon'heart would look at Primrose and shudder. "P-Primrose. Can you please let me go? I- I swear, I won't even tr-try to run off." He pleaded. Primrose would raise her paw, and drag the tom to his paws. "Don't even try. Next time, I might just kill you."

Hank gave a smirk at Raccoon, "Now now Primrose, we have much to catch up with." To which the she responded. "Oh, I know, brother. I know."
