Chapter 1 | Arrange Marriage

I watch as the sunrise appears in the sky, feeling the air hit my neck and listening to the birds chirping, making it sounds like they're singing a lovely song. I've always loved getting up early and watching the sun rise always made me calm, just to enjoy the moment of peace.

A knock came on my bedroom door
“Come in” and enter my personal maid who has been my best friend for years and also carrying a basket full of laundry “Good morning Callianna” she greeted me which always made me smile “Good morning Ella” she smiled and set the basket down.

“I still don't know how the hell you can wake up early in the morning and always so damn happy,” she said, and I laugh, which she rolls her eyes at. And I guess she's tired because she yawned and has bags under her eyes “Go get some sleep for a while because you look like a zombie” she glares at me, but I just laugh even more.

“Me? A zombie? Pshh, why don't you take a bath because you smell like a zombie” she said sarcastically.

“Ha! I smell like a flower, you idiot” I said to her and storm off to the bathroom.

“And make sure to thoroughly wash your armpit, Callianna” she shouts.

The nerve of that woman.

I got into the bathtub and stayed there for a while, just enjoying the comfort that the water give me. After I felt like I've been there long enough, I rinse with water and got off from the tub. I got out of the bathroom and went back to my room and saw that my mother is there.

“Callianna, your father wanted to see you so you two can have a talk about something” my mother informed me, there’s something off to the way my mother look at me, but I just shrugged it off.

“Of course mother, I'll be there I just need to get a dress” I told her and went to my walk in closet to find a dress for today, which is just a white off shoulder dress.

I come out from the closet and saw that my mother isn't in my room anymore. I got out of my room to look for my father in his study. I was already in front of a door to his study and knock.

“Come in”

I open the door and saw my father sitting in front of his desk, he smiled at me when he saw me “Ah Callianna, please sit down my dear daughter” he said. “ Why do you exactly want to see me?” I ask politely, “As you already know in just a few years you will be taking over the kingdom......” he paused. “Aaannd?”

“You have to find a partner” I suddenly knew where this is going, he wants me to find a husband. Great just GREAT.

“I don't need a husband father, I am capable of running the kingdom on my own” I try to convince him. “Callianna I am not talking that you required a husband, I found out years ago that you're a lesbian when you kiss your personal maid, so no need to worry, I just want you to find someone to rule the kingdom together, and I don't care if it's a woman” I was shock, he actually thinks I'm a lesbian? No, no,no, no.

“Father I-… I am no-…” I stutter.

“Shush Callianna, you know you can't lie to me, me and your mother already knows and like I said I don't care if it's a woman, I just want you to be married, so you can have someone with you”

“And we already find someone that you can marry” someone talks from behind me. I turn around and saw that my mother is the one that standing behind me. Since when did she enter the room?

“Wait, so you two are talking that you arrange a marriage for me without my concern?” At this point I am mad, I understand that they are my parents but how dare they to arrange something like that?

“Yes, and you're lucky that we found a woman for you to marry.”

“Father, I must protest, you can't just do something like that. I'm happy that you two have no problem that I fancy women, but you have no rights to choose who I wanted to marry”

“I am still not happy that you prefer women's, so either you agree or not, you're marrying her”. Did my mother just say that? I can't believe her, I thought out of two of them she was the one who understand me the most. I storm out of there and went to the training grounds to release my anger because I cannot stand their behavior anymore.

“Princess Callianna” Edward greeted me, he was the head general in the army.

“Prepare the knights Sir Edward, I needed to release my anger before I set fire to the castle” I joke.

“Even though you made that joke so many times, I'm still scared that you would actually do it”

“I know just please get the knights ready I need to release some steam”

“I will do just that, but first you have to tell me what make you so angry that there's smoke coming out of your ears”

“My parents arrange a marriage without my concerned” I sigh after I told him.

“And who are you marrying to?”

“I don't know, I storm out of there before they got a chance to tell me”

“Mm hmm, I remember when you told me that you will marry someone when you turn thirty”

“Exactly and I am still twenty-five and to top it all I'm going to marry a stranger” I said angrily. “ I just hope that it's not a man because you know you like women's” said Edward.

Edward is the one who always got my back I told him when I was eighteen I kiss my personal maiden and no, it wasn't Ellain fact, that someone is ten years older than me and Ella was just a new maid back then. I remember that after that kiss she retired from being my maid and I never saw her again, it's been seven years that happened, but I still regret that I never got a chance to tell her I love her. She was my first love, and she was my first heartbreak, it's ironic that she told me she loves me before the night she disappeared.

“Yes, they said they knew that I was a lesbian and the one I'm going to marry is a woman”

“Well I guess that's great, and they didn't let that boy William to marry you, that boy is such a brat” he rolls his eyes when William name leave his mouth. William had been asking my parents to marry me, and I'm just glad they knew I'm a lesbian. “I know William is such a brat always bragging about his things that his daddy and mommy got him” I said because it is true he always bragged about things that apparently his dad and mom bought for him.

“I'm going to get the knights ready for you” he nods at me before going to get the knights ready for me. I went to the horses and check where's my horses are, I have two horse, one is black, and her name is Luna the other one is white, and his name is Moonlight. Yes, I named them after the moon because I love the moon just like I love the sun.

I wait there for a while after the knights finally arrived, and we started fighting. This is the way I let my anger out. I know I like peace but when I'm mad, I couldn't help myself, I needed a little violence to let all my anger subside.

I fight with all of them for three hours, and they all got killed by me, and my dress is now covered in blood, yes I know I'm in a dress because I hate wearing those armors because for me, they are uncomfortable, and they make me slow while fighting. After the fight I give their lives back because one of my powers is to make the dead came back to life but the only ones I can undead are those who I killed, so I couldn't make all the dead came back to life.

It is now 4:00 pm, so I went back inside the castle and went directly to the bathroom to take a shower to get rid of the blood. I plan to go to the art room after I shower, so I quickly got rid all the blood and was about to take a new dress when a knock came in my door.

“Come in”

My mother came inside, and she's carrying a royal blue dress. I stare at her, expressionless. “What are you doing here?” I ask with coldness in my voice.

“I came here to talk to you and give this dress to you”

“What exactly that dress is for?”

“We will have dinner with Mother Miranda and Lady Dimitrescu”
