Creator sama's POV
This takes place in season 8. Keith never thought that he would die like that, not while fighting galara or protecting people, but because he had a stupid crush on someone who didn't love him back.

He wished it was wrong but who is he to say. Lance hated him to guts, but he still loved him. He wished these Blue petals weren't the death of him, but alas his calls were unheard.

Lance didn't know why he hated Keith so much. It's just pure instinct that made him feel like that, he loved Allura, but he didn't want to lose her. He was broken after Allura died, he truly loved her dearly.

One day when he came to Allura's statue that was made in honour of her death, he herd someone sing, "why would you ever kiss me? I'm not even as half as pretty.... You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester..... But you like her better...... I wish I was Heather....." He then heard coughing so he went to look who it was and there hunched on his knees in a coughing fit he found Keith. He was coughing out blue rose petals, 'my favourite' Lance thought. He went to help Keith, even if he hated him he won't just let him die there.

He called out for someone but no one heard him. He made sure to move Keith into a sitting position. Keith then reached into his mouth and pulled out a whole flower, the flower was coated in blood and the flower was his favourite, the Blue Rose Keith then wheezed, trying to breathe but failing miserably.

"Who is it!?" Lance asked. "Wha-what!?" "I asked, WHO IS IT GODDAMN IT!?!!" Lance asked and Keith whimpered at how loud he was. He could feel his life slipping away. He just made one last gesture. Pointing towards Lance, and then his body went limp. A few stems grew out of his mouth and Blue Roses bloomed on them.

Lance was in shock. Keith, the guy he hated the most because how perfect he was, was in love with him? He realised the thorns on the stems 'that must be why there was blood' he was lost in thought he didn't realise that he was staring at Keith.

Shiro was taking a walk with Adam talking to him and catching up with him. Then he came to the garden where Allura's statue was situated in, he saw a sight which he never wanted to see.

He saw his brother, lying there, Blue Roses blooming from his mouth, blood on the side, in short, dead. He ran towards Keith desperately trying to find a heartbeat or a pulse or anything indicated that his son was alive. But to his disappointment none. He cried out his name as if it would be just a dream, but it was reality......

Keith, the red and black paladin, the leader of Voltron, was dead.....
