Being asked to Join a Team

Prologue

I could taste his fear. It poured off him in waves. I ran my claw across his neck and the fear spiked with flavor. I whispered into his ear and it again spiked. So easy. Too easy to scare. I could hear someone speak behind me and I pull away. The man's face is deathly white and sweat was shining on his brow.

"Could I just kill him? He hasn't spoken yet and it is boring me to just talk." I purr at my friend, smiling. He glared at me and I rolled my eyes. I look at the prisoner and smile hungrily. His blood would taste so good. "Please? Just one bite? It won't kill him but I bet it would make him talk." I purred and nearing the man's neck once more.

"Only one bite." I opened my mouth and sadly the man spoke, giving away every last detail. I pulled away and my friend smiled. He was too happy. He cast his eyes in my direction and I bite the air, snarling. The man was taken from the room and I took the vacant seat.

"You lied. I wanted a bite and he spoke. Stupid rules." I snap at him, and he rolled his before he smiles that cute smile.

"Sorry but you have to follow them and we both would have been in serious trouble if neither of us did." He said and I rolled my eyes and sent a glare at him.

"You talk too much. Listen, Fury doesn't mind if a I bite some the prisoners or whatever. And me biting helps both of us. You get info and I get a snack. Things have changed since you were in here last, Cap." I said standing and walking out leaving an annoyed Captain. I walked in the halls of the Helicarrier, the Agents voiding me. My phone rang and I pulled it out. My favorite song was playing. Mama by My Chemical Romance.

"Where are you?" the voice askes and I roll my eyes and lean against the wall nearest to me.

"Hello to you too. And why?" I snap and hear a groan on the other side. "Don't you dare throw a fit! You called me without saying hello."

"Fine. Hello. Now I want you to come and report to me in my office, immediately." He demanded and he disconnected.

"Bye to you too, Fury." I mock. I walk slowly, making sure I go as slow as possible to annoy the living hell out of him. I finally arrive and receive a heated glare.

"I thought I told you to report to me immediately. It took you ten minutes to get here. I now you were in the ship." He said with a lot of anger, and I rolled my eyes in return.

"You never said goodbye." I say back and he groans into his hand.

"I will next time. Now give me a report." I smiled and did. Ten minutes later I finished and he was sittinf in his chair bored.

"That was incredibly simple. Why did you go into such detail?" he asks and I smile.

"Because you never apologized." He groans once again and I laugh. "You know me by now, Fury. I like to torture people!"

"Yes. I know and I should have just remembered. So sorry but I have a mission for you." He says and I smile.

"Why didn't you say so, Nick?!" I yell, happily.

"Because you took ten minutes to explain how to kidnap a person and scare them." He snaps and I growl in announce.

"Well sorry! But you deserved it! Now tell me what this mission is!" I order and he smiles. One of his cocky and bossy smiles that makes you regret ever asking.

"Coulson is alive." I rolled my eyes and he gives me a questioning look.

"I already knew that. I could feel his energy return and I know exactly where he is so, what exactly do you want me to do?" I smirk at his shocked face, then I wait for him to reply.

"He has a small team and I want you to join them. Go find them. Agent May already knows of that you are coming so does Coulson. Now I want you to leave immediately and do not take more than needed because they weren't proper. Got it?" he demands and I nod.

"Yeah, yeah. So I will leave in like fifteen minutes because I have to pack and say bye to my friends. I would have loved to know in advance." I get up and leave. I was done being proper to a man like him. I mean who just orders people around without a hello or goodbye?!

"Agent K!" I turn and look at Fury. "Goodbye." I smile and bow at him.

"Thank you and Goodbye as well." I turn back around and continue to walk to my room. I find my friends waiting there. I guess dear Fury told them before me that I was leaving. Who does that? " I guess you all know? Yes? Great. Okay help me pack and we will way our goodbyes after. I bought us fifteen minutes to play some last minute pranks!" I laugh and they smile right back.

Even though I was the youngest of our group I was the boss. No matter what anyone said Captain was no the Leader of the Avengers. It took only a minute to pack all my things in two bags then we attacked the ship as many pranks as possible. To the simple one like water bucket over the door to ones that will cover you in very friendly spiders. Of course not deadly pranks but ones that will leave you shaking.

"Okay. Bye guys. I will miss you but call if you need me!" I say bowing to my friends and smile my canine smile.

"Be safe and call us if we are needed." Thor says and I nod. I kiss his cheek and hug him. Gorgeous God. I walk over to Nate and smile.

"Promise you will not be some shy girl." I roll my eyes and nod.

"Like I am ever shy! I express who I am and I don't give a shit about what anyone thinks of me!" I say and she smiles back. The smile she only gives to close friends. I walk over to Stark.

"See ya later. I am hosting a party soon. I would love it if you were there." I roll my eyes and hug the smart idiot.

"Maybe but you throw parties way too often, Stark." I answer and leave him to say goodbye to Clint.

"Practice every day and maybe you could defeat me in archery." He jokes and playfully growl.

"Like you could every defeat me in anything, Bart. And keep them safe. Make sure you tell them about your family one day." I hug him and whisper making sure he only heard me. I pull away and finally I say goodbye to Cap. Sadly Bruce wasn't here. I should email him later.

"See you later, K. Don't do anything I wouldn't do." He says and I laugh.

"You wouldn't do a lot of stuff Cap. Especially cuse. I mean seriously you big goof. Act like the age of today and leave that goody too shoes in the past." I joke and hug him. I pull away but kiss his cheek.

I would happy date anyone of the male Avengers, except Bruce, but sadly most are taken for. But Steve was another problem. He was too good. A little too nice and clean for me. I grab my bags and walk into the jet waiting for me. A final wave and I was off. Maybe this would be fun... maybe not... May was a bit too serious for me but Coulson was always fun and interesting. Maybe there would be cute guys on this team? Hopefully or else this would get boring a little too fast.

Okay! I hope this was a good first chapter! I will try posting more and I hope you guys are caught up on the episodes because when March comes around I will talk about them! Okay! Don't forget to comment, vote, share and follow!
